October is Veterinary Technician Month, and we’re shining the spotlight on someone truly special — Michelle, our incredible RVT!

Michelle has been a Registered Veterinary Technician for 27 years, and her dedication to animal care is nothing short of inspiring. She’s a true go-getter, always ready to jump in, get things done, and support her team with a calm, focused presence.
From the moment she walks through the door each morning, Michelle brings a steady, positive energy that keeps our clinic grounded. She’s not only a skilled and compassionate technician… she’s our rock, and we’re so lucky to have her as part of the Notre Dame Animal Hospital family.

Outside of work, Michelle loves camping, watching sports, and spending time with her family. She’s also a proud cat mom to Reggie and Clefty — two adorable feline companions who keep her on her toes!

Happy Friday from Nimbus! 🐾🦷

Nimbus was in recently for his dental cleaning, and he's doing great! Regular dental care is essential for our pets. Just like people, they benefit from daily brushing and professional cleanings once a year.

Good oral health supports overall wellness and can prevent serious issues down the line. Your pet can start developing periodontal disease by the age of 2 years. If you have questions about your pet’s dental care, we’re here to help!

🦷✨ Billboswaggins aka Billbo, came in for a major dental procedure that required multiple tooth extractions and he rocked his recovery with a little help from laser therapy (and some very stylish goggles)
After his procedure, we used therapeutic laser treatment to help reduce inflammation, manage pain, and promote faster healing. It's a gentle, non-invasive way to support recovery and keep pets more comfortable after surgery or dental work.
We love seeing our patients recover smoothly and even more when they look this cool doing it!

Exciting News: A New Chapter at Notre Dame Animal Hospital!

We are excited to share some important updates about the future of Notre Dame Animal Hospital.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Pahulpreet Singh, who has taken over as the new owner and lead veterinarian. Dr. Singh brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for animal care, having practiced in Southern Ontario and, most recently, in North Bay over the past 2½ years. His approach to veterinary medicine is rooted in compassion, clear communication, and a commitment to the health and well-being of every pet he treats.

With this transition in ownership, you may have already noticed some positive changes around the hospital — and there's more to come. Dr. Singh is focused on enhancing the level of care we provide, improving the client experience, and expanding our services — all while maintaining the trusted, community-based atmosphere our clients have come to value.

At the same time, we would like to share that Dr. Rasheed is no longer with Notre Dame Animal Hospital. We are sincerely grateful for the care and dedication he provided to our patients and clients over the years, and we wish him continued success in his future endeavors.

We’re excited about this new chapter under Dr. Singh’s leadership and look forward to continuing to provide the highest standard of care for you and your beloved pets.
