They're here! 😍 They'll be left alone to settle in now after a long journey, but Mauve and Mulberry are everything I could have hoped for- personable, active, and even-tempered despite no doubt being under some stress the past two days. I'm looking forward to getting to know their individual personalities over the next few months before winter brumation!

Today was photo day for the babies! All photos on the website have been updated to use their new pictures, and some of these babies are even eating well enough for their new homes already!

Right now, I'm reaching out to everyone on the waitlist as I reach them - the amels finished hatching out a little later, so anyone waiting on one of those, please be patient! I should be able to start reaching out to you in about a week! Anyone who wasn't waiting specifically for an amel- keep an eye on your messages or emails (wherever we were chatting!), as I'll be in touch over the next few days!

Every now and then, surprises show up- and apparently Red carried motley, because we have a tessera motley from his clutch with Chili! Even more excited to see all 21 babies out of their eggs now 😍

Hatching has begun! Both clutches on the same day- left for a day out, came home to six pips and a fully hatched baby!

I knew Ophie wouldn't be far behind! Eleven good, healthy eggs for her first year - and these should all be amel babies! Next year, I'll hopefully get some more variety in breeding her, but for this year I'm just happy to see three years of raising her come together. Now comes the hardest part: waiting the two-ish months for these eggs to hatch!

First clutch of the season in the incubator! 21 good eggs from Chili, always an over-achiever! Ophelia also shed within the same 24 hours as Chili- so I wouldn't be surprised to see another clutch laid in the next few days.
