Hearts in Line Equine Offering Healing & Somatic Horsemanship sessions & Horse Communication Consulting. Using our 4 pillar approach

05/27/2026

Our horses are pure, unfiltered mirrors. They don’t just read our body language; they feel the exact frequency of our internal bracing.

When you approach a horse with hidden tension, anger, or the survival instinct to "bulldoze" through your day, they will match that resistance every single time.

True horsemanship isn’t about force or mechanics—it is a somatic reflection. If you want softness from them, you have to find the willingness to unburden your own heart first.

This is the foundation of Hearts in Line Equine and our four sacred pillars of healing: Unburdened, Steadfast, Leadership, and Grounded.

When we learn to soften our own energy, the entire herd changes. ✨

👇 Have you noticed your horse mirroring your own internal stress lately?

"Sometimes, the heaviest things we carry aren't just weights—they’re sounds, sensations, and new realities."

Luna Manifesta took her first steps dragging a single tree on the gravel. In driving, they can’t see what’s behind them; they have to trust the voice they hear and the energy they feel. When the "noise" followed her, she was startled—feeling like something was coming for her.
True healing happens when we:

• Acknowledge the weight: Not by rushing, but by standing still until the fear subsides.

• Listen to the "Gravel": Accepting the reality of our environment rather than fighting it.

• Trust the Connection: Just as Luna trusts the lines, we must trust the process of our own unburdening.

By letting her process at her own pace, we aren't just training; we are honoring her spirit. Healing isn't about the finish line—it’s about the rhythm of the walk and the grace of acceptance.

This is a sacred first for us—Luna Manifesta meeting her driving collar.

One of the most beautiful things I’ve learned about driving is that a horse trained with true understanding will eventually choose to reach its head into the collar. It transforms from a piece of equipment into a mutual agreement between horse and guide. Today was simply about introducing the tool and honoring her cues as she processed it.

Notice where your horse holds their self-protection today, and ask yourself how you can create a safer space for them to release it.

Save this post as a reminder to sit in those quiet moments of foundation building with your horse. ✨

This moment right here? It’s taken years of patience to reach.

When you look at a Percheron draft cross like Luna, it’s easy to see their size and assume they naturally have the power to carry themselves in a collected frame.

But the truth is, true topline strength is so much more than just looking big. Those deep postural muscles take a tremendous amount of time and slow, intentional work to develop.

Right now, I am getting these beautiful, fleeting windows where Luna can truly hold herself together. It’s incredible to feel! But she just doesn't quite have the sustained strength to maintain that hold through her entire body yet.

Understanding how a horse's body actually develops means honoring their physical timeline and never rushing the process.

Because I want her to build that foundational draft muscle without getting ring-sour, we are shifting gears. This year is going to be all about driving, pulling carts and wagons, and completely mixing up our routine. This kind of cross-training will naturally build up the exact muscles she needs to carry herself correctly. Once that physical foundation is rock solid, we’ll bring all that new strength right back to our dressage work.

I strongly believe that keeping things varied and fresh is the secret to a horse that is genuinely down to do anything with you. This year is for building, growing, and learning together. 🌿✨

We often come to the barn with a checklist. A goal. An expectation. We want to nail that lead change, shave time off a pattern, or simply "fix" a behavior.

But when we stay caught up in what we want to do, we often miss what the horse is offering us in the now.

For many of us, horses have been a constant backdrop. We’ve shown them, worked them, and lived alongside them for so long that it’s easy to let the "sacred" become "routine."

But healing requires a different kind of presence. It requires us to set down our agendas and ask:

What is my horse actually saying today? When we approach the soul of the horse with humility, we move past the noise of our own expectations.

We begin to see them not just as athletes or partners, but as mirrors and healers. This Saturday, I’m inviting you to take just one minute of stillness. No tack, no task—just the wisdom of the heart.

Meet June Bug. 🌻 This coming four-year-old Belgian Draft filly just took her very first steps out of the pasture and into the indoor arena.

For a young horse, a new space filled with "spooky" corners and barrels can feel overwhelming—but this is exactly where the Four Pillars come to life.

In this video, you’ll see our somatic dance:

✨ Unburdened (East): We start with a clean slate. I don’t match her high energy with my own; I offer her a calm space to step into.

✨ Grounded (South): When she flinches, I remain the anchor. My feet stay heavy so she has something solid to lean on.

✨ Steadfast (West): My energy is a mirror. Because I don’t react to what terrifies her, her curiosity begins to outweigh her fear.

✨ Leadership (North): I don’t force her to the obstacles; I invite her. My confidence becomes her courage.

True horsemanship isn't about control—it’s about being the leader your horse chooses to follow, even when they’re uncomfortable. Seeing her move from "Spooking" to "Exploring" is the heart and soul of this work. 🐎✨

I am so looking forward to continuing this journey with this incredible filly.

For a long time, the world felt too unstable. As a neurodivergent soul, the pressure to over-share, to explain, and to talk until you’re blue in the face can be exhausting.

People want you to fit into a box, but horses? Horses just want you to be here.

This is Poco Loco. He was my dream—a Bay and white Overo Mustang with two blue eyes. But as a kid, I was terrified of Overos; I didn’t think they were trustworthy I’d been hurt by a few in my younger years. And at first, Poco did his best to prove me right.

The first time I tried to canter him, he bucked me off seven times in a row!

It was one of the most challenging, frustrating, and humbling experiences of my life. But that seventh time wasn't the end; it was the breakthrough.

Once we moved past the "argument," we were unstoppable. He had a rocking horse canter that I can still feel in my bones today—a rhythm that quieted everything else.

Poco Loco taught me the Fourth Energy: Grounding. He showed me how to regulate my own nervous system and become aware of my body in a way no human conversation ever could.

When the world asks too much of us, horses take that pressure away. They don't need your words; they need your energy. They bring you back into alignment.

Poco has moved on to greener pastures, but his legacy lives on in every session at Hearts in Line Equine.

Ready to find your own line?

Sometimes we just need to stop talking and start feeling. If you’re ready to experience the Fourth Energy and find your own sense of grounding, I have a few spots open for Equine Energy sessions this month.

Let’s get you back in line. 🤍

The world is running on a digital clock, but the horse? She’s still on biological time.

In this age of speed, where everything is "instant" and "urgent," we’ve drifted so far from the pace we were actually supposed to live at.

For those of us who feel deeply—the empaths and the neurodivergent—this constant acceleration can feel like a storm we’re always trying to outrun.
Luna Manifesta is my constant reminder to stop running.

In this video, we aren't just practicing transitions; we are practicing presence. You’ll notice the rhythm beads—they are more than just an accessory.

They are the "beats" of my Grounded pillar. They act as a sensory bridge, a steady chime that pulls my focus away from the "noise" of the modern world and back into the current moment.

The beads create a shared heartbeat between us. As they sync our movement, they help us find a singular focus.

When I stop trying to match the speed of the world and start matching the rhythm of the horse, the healing begins.

There is a profound, restorative power in slowing down. It isn’t "boring"—it’s a homecoming.

Ready to find your own rhythm?

If the world feels a little too fast and you're looking for a space to ground, reset, and reconnect, I’m here to help you bridge that gap.

PM me to book a 1:1 session or to join one of my upcoming healing circles. Let's step out of the rush and back into the present, together.
