Tiger Leo sired the 1979 reserve world champion cutting horse, Lonsum Tiger, and had ROM's in cutting, racing and reining. "Sonny" is the sire of the 2004 Canadian High School Rodeo Barrel Racing Champion, 2003 Silver State International Rodeo Barrel Racing Champion, 2003 CGRA Derby 2nd go winner, 2003 ABRA 4 year old Champion and 5 year old runner up.

Congratulations to Doug Phipps on his win in the #9 at the 2016 World Series Team Roping in Vegas! Doug purchased the Lone Tree Ranch gelding, Sonitas Mr Horton- 2002 gelding out of Sonitas Tiger Leo, out of a Mr Horton daughter. The handy gelding was used for ranch work, and a heel horse and is now a WSTR earner.
