Meet Spike! 🙀🖤 His hairstyle? Definitely not a phase. His hobbies include judging strangers, becoming obsessed with his favourite humans and listening to My Chemical Romance.
Spike is a 6 month old Chinese Crested mix with a look that’s guaranteed to turn heads. He can be a little unsure when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly and forms incredibly strong bonds with his humans. Once you’re in, you’re in and he’ll happily follow you from room to room. He loves to consider himself a lap dog though he is already larger than many Chinese Cresteds, weighing in around 30 pounds. Like any puppy, Spike is still learning. He’s looking for a family that will provide consistency, positive training, patience and plenty of love as he grows. He is said to have lived with other dogs and cats previously and got along great with all.
Chinese Cresteds are a unique breed with unique needs. They’re incredibly people oriented, thrive on companionship and can become very attached to their families. Depending on his coat type, they also require regular grooming and skincare. We’d love to see Spike go to someone who knows and loves the breed or is committed to learning everything that comes with owning one! Spike is an affectionate, quirky little guy who’s looking for a family ready to embrace both his personality and the commitment of raising a puppy.
