Be safe!

Should you and your furry loved one enjoy woodland hikes on ATV trails,
Logging roads or through dirt countryside’s, now is the time be be sure you and your dog are
very visible!

Some game seasons open in September but members significantly increase
Now until mid December.

Dogs with brown colour or have white tails can easily be mistaken for a deer and some shepherds & huskies confused for coyotes and other wild canines.

Sibbling Sunday!

Brothers Gomez & Boomer are graduated clients. We got to know them and their family well, during their program over a year ago.

There are added benefits of completing a training program with the Balanced Doghouse.

One is having a reliable place to take your dogs when life takes you places they cannot go. It’s always nice to keep in touch.

We only board graduated clients.

Sorry to keep everyone in suspense. This week has been a blur between dogs and a family wedding that happened yesterday!

He is an Australian Cattle Dog!

I should have known I wouldn’t have had second between accompanying the mother of the groom, being in the wedding party escorting the prettiest flower girl ever (Rubi) and the handsomest ring bearer (Yoda) 🎊 🎊

Oh yeah!…and doing the catering for the event!

Overnight a star was born and we soon will have another member of our Balanced Doghouse pack!!

Given our pack dynamic and future aspirations, what type of dog do you think we will be welcoming home?

If I’ve spilt the beans to some of you please refrain from commenting. Curious to see what everyone thinks.

When is the right time? Smilin’ sibblings!

When considering bringing a second dog into your household, it’s always easier when your pup has a great role model!

DO NOT think a new pup will help you work out existing issues with the dog you already own!

In my experience, doubling down between 5-7 years is ideal! Your proven pooch is now TRAINED and mature. They become a role model with enough life to becoming a senior, when the new pup assumes their position.
