Exciting News!

We're thrilled to announce that we have opened up multiple spots for horse rider duo lessons focusing on barrel racing and horsemanship throughout the training process.

At PFC Stables, we believe there's always room for improvement, both for you and your horse. We understand the frustration of encountering training gaps and not knowing how to bridge them. That's why we're passionate about helping advanced riders overcome those challenges and achieve their goals.

Don't want to tackle training challenges on your own? Consider our training program! We offer a range of services, from starting and restarting horses to fine-tuning skills and patterning. We understand that horse training isn't for everyone, so we're happy to help those who prefer to focus on other aspects of their riding journey.

Wrapping up the 2024 futurity season on a nice run.

So let’s talk about what I learnt over the last 6 months with 'Guys Gypsy Blue' in her first season out:

• We can only ever be as good as the horse beneath us.
• Futurity seasons are full of ups and downs, the highest highs and the lowest lows.
• All you can do is hang on for the ride and try your hardest every run.
• No matter how prepared you are you’re gonna have your fair share of good and bad runs
• It’s important with young horses to not compare yourself to all the other futurity horses because young horses will be young horses, they all have bad days, they all have challenges they need to overcome, they all have good runs too.
• You just gotta run your own race and take every learning opportunity that comes your way.

Excited for “Guys Gypsy Blue” coming into her Derby years, as well as "Guys Lucky Seven” our 2026 futurity hopeful!

Earn their trust.

It is building a relationship.

It is being a horseman that communicates effectively with the horse.

It is reading personalities and understanding body language.

It is being present and being able to modify your methods to fit each horse.
