SLR Performance & Trail Horses - Terms of Service
1. Deposit Policy:
- All deposits made for horse purchases are non-refundable.
- Deposits are considered a commitment to purchase and secure the selected horse.
2. As-Is Disclaimer:
- All horses are sold "as is."
- It is the buyer's responsibility to thoroughly assess and inspect the horse before purchase.
- SLR Performance & Trail Horses make no warranties or guarantees, express or implied, regarding the health, condition, or suitability of the horse for any particular purpose.
3. Terms Subject to Change:
- These terms of service may be modified at any time without prior notice.
- Buyers are encouraged to review the terms regularly for updates.
4. Right to Refuse Sale:
- SLR Performance & Trail Horses reserve the right to refuse the sale of a horse to any buyer, for any reason, at our discretion.
- In the event of a refusal, any deposits received will be promptly refunded to the buyer.
5. Communication Protocol:
- All communication regarding horse purchases and related matters will be conducted in a professional and timely manner.
- Misrepresentation of information or failure to disclose relevant details by the buyer may result in the cancellation of the transaction.
6. Ownership Transfer:
- Full ownership of the horse will be transferred to the buyer upon receipt of the full payment.
- SLR Performance & Trail Horses will provide all necessary documents for the transfer of ownership.
7. Post-Departure Responsibilities:
- If a purchased horse is left on SLR Performance & Trail Horses' property for more than one day after purchase, the buyer is required to ensure the horse is fully insured.
- The horse must leave the property within two weeks of purchase; otherwise, additional charges for boarding may apply.
8. Payment Terms:
- Full payment for the purchased horse is expected within one month from the date of purchase.
- If payment is not received within this timeframe, SLR Performance & Trail Horses reserve the right to refuse the sale of the horse.
9. Extra Boarding Charges:
- Horses left on the property beyond the initial two-week period will incur additional charges for boarding unless prior arrangements have been made.
- The boarding charge is $200 per week after the initial two-week period.
10. Post-Departure Liability:
- Once the horse leaves SLR Performance & Trail Horses' property, any injuries or accidents that occur are not the responsibility of SLR Performance & Trail Horses.
- The responsibility for the horse's well-being and safety rests entirely with the new owner.
11. Dispute Resolution:
- Any disputes arising from a horse transaction will be addressed through negotiation and, if necessary, mediation.
12. Selling Disclaimer:
- No horse is sold sight unseen, due to safety of the animal. Horses must be ridden by the potential owner before purchasing.
By proceeding with a deposit or purchase, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms. It is recommended to read and understand these terms before entering into any transaction with SLR Performance & Trail Horses
