A big week for W!

Shyanne and Longnwinding Road are absolutely crushing it! This week, W didn’t just train—he taught. When one of the lesson horses couldn’t compete, this sweet guy stepped up as a catch ride, carefully carrying a young student through all her classes like a seasoned pro. 💫

Not bad for a horse with just 8 weeks of training, huh?

Yesterday we attended the Queen's County Fair Fun Show! And I am so happy with how everything went!

Thank you so much to Melinda for putting on an amazing event, and to everyone who came to ride and support it was an amazing turnout and so much fun!

For starters every one of my students was in attendance some on my horses, some on their own. We also because of how close we were to home we were able to take all of our horses to the show (with the exception of Geanie due to some time off).

We had Biz on Ace killing it in the games and making some very BIG jumps!

Riley on Griffin, and would you believe this was his first time off property since arriving at the barn over 10 years ago and his first horse show ever! I honestly think he was having the best time out of all of the horses!

Daliah subbed in W because I decided to scratch Geanie for some time off, And they did so well he was once again a perfect gentleman at his second show ever and for show with a student!

I brought Romeo for his owner Rachel to ride who I haven't shown with since 2017 I believe!

My other 2 students Charlotte and Charleigh who are also in Triangle 4H Light Horse brought their own ponies and did so great!

And since Daliah was using W for all of her rides I just kept borrowing ponies for my rides and rode a total of 6 different horses 😅

We can't wait for the next one!

W the lesson pony? Yep, and we are excited to see him in the show ring again this Saturday for his first show with a student! W moved up to 2nd place today in the trainers challenge, and we are nothing but proud of him❤️New Start Standardbreds

So last night marked W's first show and first time off property! And this handsome man was nothing but his regular gentleman of a self❤️ I kept things very simple and did introductory test A and B and as predicted he was nervous enough that he paced though most of his test but other than that better then ever expected!

Now Geanie on the other hand decided to go for a run before her warm up but did great for Daliah's Introductory test B and Training 1 and Elizabeth's Introductory test A!
