Summer Lesson Schedule Availability!🐴☀️

It's getting warmer, and you know what that means! Summer lessons are right around the corner, and we have exciting news! We will be opening up 2 extra days of lesson spots! (and no, this is not an April Fool's joke)

Our Lesson program runs from May to November, offering riding lessons for beginner to advanced riders ages 6 and up. Whether you are riding for pleasure or looking for an opportunity to compete, come ride one of our horses or trailer in your own this summer.

We have a busy summer ahead of us, and we would love to welcome some new riders to our program!

Please note that lessons will start the first week of May unless otherwise stated.

Day 2 is amazing and we aren't even done yet!

We had the whole team here with a total of 5 riders 3 horses and some light horse members!
Dal had her first show on Posie riding jr Eq, Pleasure and road hack
Biz rode Ace in the jr's as well getting three 4ths!
Shy took Posie in the sr flat and Bozzy in sr showmanship and the green horse and he got a 1st and a 2nd!
Avery came to her first show ever! She did showmanship and equitation and placed 5th!
And Charlotte got 5th and 6th in her walk trot classes and we are on break now waiting for her last two classes of the day!
We are so proud of all of our riders and horses and all ready for the next show!

Today went better than expected!

Bozzy can check going to his first show off his bucket list and he won his first ribbon!💚
Biz rocked her gaming classes this morning with a 2nd and a 3rd!
And Charlotte killed her classes with two 1sts and a 5th!

Can't wait to do it again tomorrow! So far a great first show of the season!

This weekend the Grand Oak Farms competitive team is kicking off their 2026 show season at Princess Louise Park in Sussex for the Kings County Fun Show! We have 5 riders competing and we are so excited!
A reminder the barn will be closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday and there will be no lessons but we welcome everyone to come stop by the show and cheer on our riders!

Happy birthday to the one and only Doreen W Walker ! She wears a lot of hats around here such as judge, barn manager, pony holder, photographer, but I know her as Mom 🩷 She has been to almost every show either it is mine or my students from down the road at the fairgrounds to out west, she watches every ride, every lesson and loves our ponies to the moon and back🌛 Have the most amazing day mommacita🩷

How else would I spend the Holiday Monday?
Started out my day with the Triangle 4H crew on a farm tour of a beef and equine facility then finished up some fencing and ended with some lessons!
