Hey Sirius Members, just a reminder that tonight is our corn boil and movie night! Starting at 7PM, we will have corn and all the fixings (ok, mostly just butter but what else do you need?!), we have a movie downloaded and ready to roll and after 8PM, we can start a bonfire for s'mores. Curious noses, happy tails, and lots of brave moments! This week the pups spent their enrichment time exploring new shapes and toys and equipment on our playground. In some cases, they even tried a different yard! Exploring new things is all about building confidence and we love that we are a safe environment for them to do just that! Check out some pictures of our brave fur-kids trying new things.

All that confidence will help them even more next week when its time to meet a new friend

Focusing after a summer of fun can be tough! This week, our camp counsellors helped the pups do just that. After morning play with their fur-iends, daycampers settled in for some lick art with their favorite “lick” flavor. To craft this exercise (see what I did there?), we prepped paint on a canvas, sealed it in a bag, then spread PB, CheezWhiz, or another tasty treat on top. As the pups licked away, they channeled their inner Leonardo Dog Vinci and created a colorful masterpiece to show mom and dad at pickup!

Licking releases endorphins, helping dogs relax and focus — the perfect afternoon wind-down before one last play of the day.

Back to School isn’t just for kids! This week the dogs played AND learned! Everyone got to have their “first day picture” taken on the bus while they tested their comfort level with not only the bus but with standing on a platform and staying still. Some were champs, some had first day jitters and some thought the windows were for jumping through! They also burned off their extra energy first after arriving and then again after sitting so still for the photographer.

Next week - Its arts and crafts time! Wait until you see the gallery, mom and dad!

This week at Daycamp we ended with a splash at our Summer's End Pool Party! With clean water, floating toys, and sunshine, the dogs got to cool off, play, and enjoy some good old-fashioned summer fun. Whether they were wading, splashing, or just dipping a toe in, every pup had a chance to enjoy the water in their own way. Check out some of the cutest moments we captured!

This week’s enrichment activity brought the beach vibes with our Beach Ball Boop! Using a little curiosity and a lot of encouragement, the dogs had a blast nudging the ball with their noses and showing off their playful side. It’s a simple game that builds confidence, coordination, and a whole lot of fun! Scroll through to catch some of our best boop moments along with some of our bust moments. We can't say that no ball was injured during the making of this enrichment. Nonetheless, the dogs got to interact with the ball their way. We just forgot to tell them Shark Week was over. 🤷‍♀️. Top the whole thing off with a birthday party, a welcome back party and a whole lot of play with fur-iends and I think we can call this week a bopping success!

Say it ain’t so! End of summer is here but at least we can celebrate with a pool party! Check it out next week!

How low can they go? This week’s enrichment activity was all about confidence, focus, and a little friendly competition with our Limbo Challenge! Using treats and encouragement, we guided each pup under the limbo bar — some crawled, some ducked, and a few strutted through like pros. And don't forget there's more than one way under (or over!) the bar! It’s a fun way to build body awareness while keeping tails wagging.

And of course, some play time in the yard never hurt anyone! The group play times were shorter but more frequent in this heat and we made sure the pools were always fresh! We've added some goofy, silly play photos and a few photos of them just looking handsome or getting some love.

Lastly, we had a puppy preschool graduate stay still long enough to wear the sash AND let us take a picture!

Attention Pet Parents with Overnight or Daycamp Reservations between August 12 – October 31, 2025

With the increased risk of wildfires in our province, we need your help to ensure our Evacuation Plan can be carried out quickly and safely if needed.

Please log into your online account to verify or update:
* Your primary contact telephone number
* Your emergency contact’s name and telephone number

Your emergency contact must be someone local who can pick up your pet if we are unable to reach you.

Evacuation Procedures
We will evacuate upon receiving an Evacuation Advisory from authorities and will not wait for a mandatory evacuation order.

Pet Parents/Emergency Contacts of all pets onsite will be notified as soon as possible. If time and access permit, pets must be picked up from Paw & Order within the hour.

If you cannot access the Keswick Ridge area or if immediate evacuation is required, pets will be safely transported to one of our designated muster points, based on the wildfire’s location:
