SandPiper Equestrian SandPiper Equestrian is a small equestrian team that provides a high degree of individual attention in a goal focused performance environment.

Coach, Lindsay Acheson, has completed her EC level 1, her masters in physiotherapy, as well as an undergrad degree focusing on exercise science, coaching and sports psychology. This training uniquely positions Lindsay to use a science based system to help the horse/rider team to achieve their goals. Lindsay has also developed all her own horses and multiple client horses from ground work up and is

able to assist her students with the same. Horse care is of the utmost importance to Sandpiper. Horses are treated as the equine athletes that they are, and are provided with stretching programs, massage, chiropractics and optimal nutrition. The love and respect for the horse is the primary driver why we all are equestrians. Tough muddin and puddle jumpin! Sad to wrap up our 2 weeks of showing but so pleased with all horses and riders, lots of fantastic learning!

Jamaica KVF - continues to be the great mighty Marley: 2nd in the $3k 1.20m Jumper Derby, 2nd in Wednesday’s 1.30m

Quantum WF & Jordan Dozorec - Step down after a week of big sticks to gain back some rideability: Reserve Champion of the Open 1.20m Division

Livewyre MF & Kylee Mitchell - jumped some of his best 1m classes, and moved into his first hunters like a pro to come top 6 in both 3’0ft classes on Sunday

Numero’s Girl & Micayla Hampshire - End their show on a great and confident note on Sunday: 1st in the 0.95 Crossover Class

Swing for the Stars & Amanda Clark - This pairs first show was a huge success, even moving up to do some 0.75m together. Lots of valuable miles for this special pony in all her classes

This wraps up our summer season - such a fun year with our special team, can’t wait for the next!

June Classic II was a week for the greys! (Although, Saturday’s Ba*****ed Ladies concert with the team might have been the highlight!)

Charizma MF (Capone I/Arkansas/Brass Minister xx) reminds us exactly why she is the queen - winning 3 out of her 5 classes, second in the 1.10m Mini Prix, Champion of the 1.10m, and 6th in the $20,000 Gems Cup (in good company).

Livewyre MF (Lasino/Arkansas/Brass Minister xx) continues to impress with his demeanour and attitude - Champion of the 0.9m and moves up to a whole different ring for the 1m on the weekend, coming 6th in the 1m Mini Prix!

Numero’s Girl (Numero VII/Kambabe/Jamestown) and Micayla also had a big win this week - moving up successfully to the 1.10m, and coming 5th in the 1.10m Mini Prix.

After a very soggy and unconfident first day in the 1.30m, Jamaica KVF (Orlando/Indorado/Rex Magna xx) and Quantum WF (Quidam’s Rubin/Ramiro’s Son II/Drosselklang I) had a less exciting week in the 1.15m/1.20m with some great moments.

Nostradamus & Danielle LeGrow 1st in 3 of their over fences 3’0ft AA hunters

Numero’s Girl & Micayla Hampshire Reserve Champion of the 1m, 2nd in the 1m Classic

Quantum WF & Jordan Dozorec jump their first 1.35m in the Atco Cup

Jamaica KVF jumps some excellent 20s and comes 4th in the 1.30m classic

Sublime SP is a 2022 KWPN mare that I bred. My first home bred is the boldest, easiest little mare. At 4yrs old I can sit down by her feet, crawl on her ba****ck, cuddle her lying in the straw, put the first ride on her after 8months with no contact or tension while her foal and yearling bestie race around widely. I have (tentatively) decided not to breed her again because I’m too excited to get her going. She will make the most phenomenal kids horse and will jump a house while she’s at it. Not for sale at this time, but watch for her in a year or two! (Unless I’m having way too much fun)
