You're invited to Fort McMurray's **3rd Annual NADAC Sanctioned Agility Trial**, proudly hosted by the Makenzie Kennels Agility Club!

Whether you've never seen dog agility before or you're already a fan, this is a fantastic opportunity to watch talented dogs and handlers of all experience levels work together as a team. From beginners to seasoned competitors, you'll see the incredible partnership, trust, and communication that make dog sports so rewarding.

Come cheer on the competitors, learn more about the sport, and experience the amazing bond that agility helps create between dogs and their handlers.

What a fabulous weekend full of emotional ups and downs, new and familiar faces, and amazing dogs! Another successful weekend at Mastergroom Canada! We are coming home with 1st place in Extreme Creative with Romeo and 3rd Place in Intermediate Sporting with Juliet. I cannot wait to take all that I have learned and do even better next year! Thank you Aaron for supporting me and being my assistant and Kassidy, David, Virginia, Julie, and my Uptown Pet Salon Team for chearing me on! Even though my whole team could not all come. I appreciate them staying behind to take care of the salon. I means the world to me. I just wish I had taken the time for pictures with you! ❤️

🐾 Looking for 4 Wonderful Training Models for Brooke! 🐾
Brooke is continuing to grow her grooming skills, and we're looking for 4 dogs in need of full haircuts on July 29th & 30th to help with her hands-on training.
Throughout the entire groom, Alisa will be working alongside Brooke, providing guidance and support every step of the way to ensure your pet receives safe, quality care.
To thank you for supporting Brooke's journey, we're offering 25% OFF your dog's full groom! ❤️

We're looking for dogs that:
1.Need a full haircut.
2. Are over 2 years old and under 12 years old.
3. Have a coat that is free of significant matting, allowing Brooke to focus on haircut techniques.
4. Do not show behavioural challenges during grooming.

Because these appointments are training sessions, please allow extra time, as the grooming will take longer than a typical appointment. Your patience and encouragement mean so much as Brooke continues working toward her Dog Grooming Certification.

It's with mixed emotions that we share that our wonderful Front Desk & Pet Care Associate will be leaving Uptown Pet Salon to continue doing what she loves—caring for animals! ❤️

Her final day with us will be June 28th, and while we will miss her dearly around the salon, we're so excited for her next adventure with Mackenzie Kennels, right here in Fort McMurray. We know she'll continue providing the same kindness and compassion to every pet she meets.

Thank you for everything you've done for our team, our clients, and all the furry friends you've cared for. We wish you nothing but the very best in this exciting new chapter! 🐾

As one chapter closes, another begins! This means we're looking for another animal lover to join the Uptown Pet Salon team.

We're looking for someone who:
-Loves working with both pets and people.
-Is friendly, dependable, and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
-Has experience safely trimming dog nails. This is an essential part of the position.
-Wants to be part of a fun, supportive team dedicated to exceptional pet care.

We'd love to introduce the newest member of our Uptown Pet Salon team... Maisie!

Maisie made the move from Saskatoon to Fort McMurray at the beginning of June, and she has been an incredible addition to our team since joining us on June 6th. Her patience, kindness, and gentle approach have already won over both our clients and their furry family members. 🐾💛
