They are already started on:

We currently have 4 wonderful puppies still available from this beautiful litter at Dorenlee Darling Doodles.

Our puppies are raised through our intentional 5-Step Puppy Program, designed to develop confident, people-focused companions.

While many puppies are simply exposed to people as they grow, our focus is on intentional socialization. Each interaction is thoughtfully guided so puppies build confidence, trust, and positive associations with people and new experiences. This helps them grow into calm, well-adjusted dogs who thrive in family homes.

Many people ask what exactly an Irish Doodle is.

An Irish Doodle is a cross between an Irish Setter and a Poodle, combining the affectionate, people-loving nature of the Irish Setter with the intelligence and hypoallergenic coat influence of the Poodle.

This litter is F1B Irish Doodles.

• Mom: F1 Irish Doodle
(Her parents were an Irish Setter and a Poodle)

• Dad: Toy Poodle

Mini Irish Doodle Selection Week ✨🐾

This week marks one of the most meaningful milestones in our program — Selection Week for our Mini Irish Doodle litter.

We intentionally wait until Week 7, after completing the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Assessment, before families choose their puppies.

Why?

Because temperament matters.

The insight from structured temperament testing allows us to thoughtfully guide each match with clarity and confidence.

Energy.
Human focus.
Confidence.
Sensitivity.
Recovery.

These are the traits that shape lifelong harmony — not just coat color or markings.

Our goal has never been random placement.
It’s intentional matching.

We hope — and trust — they will become your heart dog.

Almost every time — truly, 99% of the time — puppies choose their people. 🐾

Through our partnership with AdaptAbilities, we created a program close to our hearts called Canine Connection — thoughtfully placing puppies with children and adults with disabilities who would truly benefit from the companionship and emotional support of a dog.

Recently, we had the honour of welcoming a very special young girl through this program.

She arrived calm, thoughtful, and surprisingly professional in her selection process. She volunteers at her aunt’s dog grooming business and is completely in her element around dogs — confident, gentle, and absolutely passionate about them.

And just like we’ve seen so many times before…

One little male pup quietly kept choosing her.
Over and over again.

While she carefully met each puppy, he followed her, sat beside her, and watched her every move — as if something in him already knew she was his person.

And in the end… she chose him too.

It wasn’t until the next day, after giving it thoughtful consideration, that she chose his name — Lucky. 💛

And somehow, it fits perfectly.

There is something special about the way dogs sense connection. Sometimes they know before we do.

This is why Canine Connection exists — to honour those connections and place puppies where they truly belong.
