Adventure season is HERE and we are so excited to announce that Ruffwear has officially arrived in store — just in time for all those trails, parks, and lake days waiting to happen with your pup!

Another beautiful day with the Floradale Friends of Dog Guides 🐾✨

We were so honoured to host these incredible people and their amazing dogs — both retired and in training — for the Lions Foundation Dog Guides. Our customers got to spend time with Brioche, Rizzo, Xaren, Louise, and Izzy, and honestly… could there be a better way to spend a day?

So many good dogs. So many happy hearts. 🐕❤️

Meet Ellie, one of our favourite regulars! 🐾✨ This 2-year-old Golden Retriever came into Pet Valu with the most hopeful eyes, clearly wondering if she qualified for our Seniors Day discount. She did the math (14 in dog years, sweetheart 😂) and figured she had a solid case! 🐶

Unfortunately Ellie, this one’s for the humans! 🦵🦵❤️ If you’re 60+ and walking on two legs, come on in today — you’ve more than earned that discount! 🎉

Meet Miso & Dory — two dogs who were dealt the worst hands and are now living their absolute best lives. 🤍🖤

Miso, our beautiful white Jindo-type girl, came all the way from a dog meat farm in Korea through the incredible Niagara Dog Rescue. Dory, a precious black furbaby, found her family through SCAAR — Second Chance Auction Animals Rescue. And what a family they found.

This incredible duo came in for a pamper session today — a full wash and some well-deserved post-bath goodies — and honestly? They left us completely heart-full. ✨

Matching collars. Matching name tags. Matching smiles. Siblings in every way that matters.

To their humans — thank you for being the kind of people these dogs needed. You didn’t just change their lives, you gave them a life. This is what second chances look like, and it’s beautiful.

Your pups have been waiting and the wait is OVER! We’ve just restocked our shelves with the most adorable treats from our neighbours at Spoil The Dog Bakery in the charming village of St. Jacobs! 🐾✨

Summer is calling with their seasonal Pineapple and Watermelon cookies — because why should the humans have all the fun?! 🌞 And for the classics that never go out of style, the fan-favourite Mini Bones and Pumpkin Paws are back too! 🦴🐾

Roux stopped by for toys and a harness… and left with our whole hearts. 🐾💙

4 months old, full of energy, and absolutely bursting with personality. But those eyes? We can’t stop talking about them. Roux has Heterochromia — two different coloured eyes — and they are honestly the most stunning thing we’ve ever seen walk through our door. 😍🤎💙

We’ve been thrilled to welcome her back and of course we had to get some updated pictures — how could we not?! Roux, you are welcome here any single time. 🐺💕

Meet Gus & Arnie — two golden boys who stopped in for our self-serve dog wash recently, and honestly? They were ALL smiles the entire time. 😄🐾

But wait — it gets even better. It was Gus’s 2nd birthday!! 🎂🎉 And what better way to celebrate turning two than splashing around in a tub with your best pal? We’d say that’s a pretty perfect birthday if you ask us! 🥳

Gotta love two Goldens in a tub. There is truly nothing better. 🧡🧡

We were so happy to welcome the Floradale Friends of Dog Guides to our store yesterday. It was an absolute joy having them here — and an even bigger joy meeting the gorgeous Standard Poodles, Yaris and Izzy, two young Lions Foundation dogs in training who are well on their way to changing lives. 🦁❤️
