Core vaccines include:
-Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV Type 1 & 2)

Knowing what your vaccines cover is essential to keeping your herd healthy, documenting when and what you vaccinate will help you in the long run in!

The snow is finally melting!
Standing water and water fowl mixed together can cause a higher chance of wild birds and farm fowl to contract avian influenza.

If you have chickens, turkeys, or any kind of farm fowl on your property it is important to keep them separate from wild birds. Biosecurity is essential to keeping your farm fowl safe.

If you happen to find a wild bird with neurological symptoms or the bird just seems off or sickly DO NOT touch the bird.
-Leave wild bird where it is
-Contact your local Fish & Wildlife
-Contact RCMP if Fish & Wildlife do not answer your call
-DO NOT bring in the wild bird to the clinic

If one of your own farm fowl are sick and showing avian influenza symptoms please call the clinic 780-835-2750
-Wear protective gear before touching the bird
-Separate your sick bird from the rest of the healthy birds
