Each quarter, we have the privilege of honouring one of our staff members by donating to a charity or organization of their choice in their name. This quarter, we are proud to support the Jane Goodall Institute on behalf of Dr. Emily Jantzi.

Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, world-renowned ethologist, conservationist, and UN Messenger of Peace, has spent her life advocating for the natural world and forging a path for women in science. As founder of the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI), she has led groundbreaking efforts in community-led conservation, animal welfare, and chimpanzee research and care through 24 global institutes.

In 1991, she launched Roots & Shoots—a youth-led movement now active in 70+ countries, empowering young people to lead projects that create positive change for people, animals, and the environment.

Jane’s legacy continues to inspire a new generation of changemakers, grounded in respect, compassion, and action. 🌍💚

Each quarter, we have the privilege of honouring one of our staff members by making a donation to a charity or organization of their choice in their name. This quarter, we are proud to support The Joyriders Therapeutic Riding Association of PEI. This association holds special significance for Dr. Alan Manning, as it was dear to his late mother, Maylea, who was involved with the organization.

The Joyriders' mission is to enhance the physical, emotional and social well-being of children and adults with disabilities through various forms of therapeutic riding. Their clients partner with horses to improve physical coordination, balance, and strength, while developing confidence, self-regulation, self-esteem, and cognitive advancement. Therapeutic benefits include physical exercise, recreation, socializing with peers, and embracing the challenge of a new and novel activity. Above all, they have fun! www.thejoyriders.ca
