The warm weather always gets me excited to get back out there with the horses after a long winter.

⁉️Are you looking for an opportunity this year to spend some time with horses? Maybe a chance to hang out with friends or family in a new, fun, and exciting environment?

‼️Well you've come to the right place! I'd love to host you and up to three friends or family members for two days of back to back games and learning with our special teachers the horses!

As I look towards the end of my season, I wanted to take a moment and say thank you to everyone who came out this year for either my Equine Assisted Learning Programs and/or for Riding Lessons.

It was an incredible summer of learning and I am overwhelmingly grateful for the ability to do this job.

I had more interest than I ever thought imaginable and can not wait to see what next year brings!!

As of now, I am unable to take on any more clients, as my roster is full til the end of this season. Thanks again everyone!

I said I had exciting news so here it is …..

Last week we welcomed two new horses to the herd 🤩

Meet Gypsy and Sisco!!

With more interest in program and lessons I needed more horse power. Then a good friend of mine asked if I’d be willing to take her horses, and I had to say yes! These ladies are cool, calm, and collected a perfect addition to the Freedom Center 💕

My apologies for being MIA the past few weeks.. I was busy getting myself married!! But we are back and ready to go!

☀️ It seems that summer has FINALLY arrived! YAY! This means that the Freedom Center is ready for business! The horses are getting eager to do some teaching, and looking forward to meeting their new students in the coming weeks, and to continue teaching those returning!! ☀️

Say hello to today's horse of the week, Barry! 👋

I bought Barry 3 years ago as an unbroke 3 year old, as a challenge to myself. Never have I ever had such an easy time training a horse, yet had so much difficulty at the same time.

When you meet Barry, you will know exactly what I mean!

Barry has the quirkiest personality of any horse I have ever met, and he wins the heart of almost every passerby.

💚 Barry will attempt to put anything and everything into that mouth of his... he is a large toddler in that regard.

💛He loves to explore! Being out on the trail, down the road, and seeing new things is what this guy is all about. He never fails to take you anywhere you want to go.

🧡His easy going nature makes him a great candidate for our lesson program, but he still has a bit of growing up to do. However I am hoping to start bringing him into our lessons this year and see what he would like to teach us!

Who doesn't love some colour? 🤩

Meet Hollywood! Another one of our program's horses. Holly is a tri-colour paint that has been an asset to our riding lesson program.

🤍 Holly loves being out on the trail, and takes a slow, calm approach to life.

💛Poor girl is at the bottom of the herd order (meaning she gets pushed around by the other horses); but don't let that fool you because she is easily the most strong and stubborn of the bunch!

🧡Holly is always looking to please and is a great team player. She also will do anything for a snack! So if you got a treat in your pocket she might just show you a smile 😁

✨Dee✨

These programs are all about the horse! So let me introduce to you the face of my company, my trusted partner, Dee. 🫶

Dee came into my life waaayyy back in 2010, so she has been apart of my life for 13 years!

💛Just like making friends with people, Dee and I had to build a relationship through mutual trust and understanding. And although there where many times I was going to give up on her, my own personal stubbornness persisted and we built an unbreakable bond.

🧡Dee teaches that trust is built through respect, and challenges your inner leader. She is patient, kind, and although the boss of the herd, she is willing to trust those who show her they can take the lead.

❤️Because she has proven to me to be trustworthy, I use Dee for our EAL programs, and has been a great horse to teach lessons on!

The bravery and courage of one brother encouraged the other to think he could also accomplish the task.
