I may have gotten a little carried away... What started as creating a few cute things for myself to wear and celebrate my business somehow turned into a full-blown collection!

I had so much fun coming up with each of these designs and putting everything together myself, and I thought if I liked them this much, some of you might too! So I’ve decided to make my little collection available to order.

To my Northern clients 🐾🩵

As many of you already know, I’ve made the incredibly tough decision to officially discontinue my regular grooming trips up North. With my final trip coming up in September, I wanted to take a moment to say a proper thank you to some of the best clients.

I started grooming many of your dogs long before Gentle Paws In-Home Grooming became what it is today, and I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who continued to book with me every time I came home. Some of your pups have been with me for years now and have come so far with their grooming, saying goodbye to them is definitely the hardest part of this decision.

I’m also saying goodbye to so many amazing clients who have always treated me with such kindness and respect, and often like family. I truly don’t think I’ll ever be able to replace the group of clients who helped build my confidence and showed me that this little business of mine really could thrive. You supported me while I was still figuring it all out, and that will always mean so much to me. ❤️❤️

As my business and life have grown here in the Ottawa area, the goal I once had of eventually moving back home just never ended up happening. Continuing to travel back and forth so regularly is no longer something I can manage, and I know it’s time to finally close this chapter. I know it’s the right decision, but that doesn’t make it any less bittersweet.

Thank you for trusting me with your dogs, supporting my little business from hundreds of kilometres away, and giving me a reason to keep coming back for as long as I did. I will truly miss everyone so much and will post when I periodically return.

I’ll be completing my final scheduled Northern grooming trip September 13–22, and after that, Gentle Paws In-Home Grooming will officially be staying close to home. 🩵

Thank you for all the years of support, trust, kindness and friendship. I’m going to miss my Northern pups and their people, more than you know. 🥺❤️

The last month has been a little crazy between my accident, being without a vehicle, and trying to keep everything going in the meantime. I’m SO happy to finally be back to work and getting back to normal! 🩵🐾

I did want to ask a little favour from my amazing clients. If I’ve groomed your pup and you’ve been happy with your experience, I would really appreciate it if you took a minute to leave me a Google review.

🚙🐾 Gentle Paws is officially back on the road! 🐾🚙

After a stressful few weeks following my accident, I couldn’t be happier to say that I finally have my new vehicle and Gentle Paws In-Home Grooming is officially back up and running! ❤️

A huge thank you to Northern Ford Sales Limited and Zee for making the process of getting me back into a vehicle so easy. He went above and beyond to help me find something I absolutely love, and made an already stressful situation so much better. I’m incredibly grateful for all of his help!

And of course, thank you to all of my amazing clients for being so patient, understanding, and supportive while I worked through everything.

It feels SO good to be back - I can’t wait to see all of you and your pups again! 🐶🐾

🥇 We won Gold! 🥇

I’m honestly still in shock.

As a solo groomer, I never imagined Gentle Paws In-Home Grooming would win Gold for Best Pet Grooming in CommunityVotes Ottawa 2026! There are so many amazing groomers in Ottawa, and to know that my clients voted and supported me enough to earn the Gold spot is truly something special.

Receiving this award has made me realize just how incredibly lucky I am to have such amazing clients. This wouldn’t have been possible without every single one of you who took the time to nominate me, vote for me, recommend me to your friends and family, and trust me with your furry family members.
