Griffon is relaxing in the sun. The outdoor catio was opened today for his and Selene enjoyment.

Our Devons did really well at the show this year in Calgary. We didn’t win them all but Callie, Kiki and Ana showed very well.
Callie and Kiki gained valuable points toward their championship and fingers crossed for Annalise to achieve her triple grande champion.

Thank you to Paula for coming to Calgary to help our little Cattery to achieve some amazing goals.

Happy National Cat Lady Day! 🐾

How It All Began

National Cat Lady Day was founded in 2017 by Susan Michals, the creator of CatCon. After seeing the success of the convention, Michals wanted to create a dedicated day to officially dismantle the "crazy cat lady" stereotype. Her goal was to show that cat lovers are vibrant, independent, and compassionate people—not the eccentric caricatures often seen in pop culture.

Leonard got his feet wet at the cat show in saanich this weekend. He behaved beautifully , with all the girls around, and hugged one of the judges.

We were told he has one of the best coats they have seen in a long time.

We are super proud of you Leonard.

Callie’s babies had there assessment at the vet yesterday.

All four of theses Devon Rex kittens travelled well and did remarkable with the vet.

Our very first retiree here at West Kootenay Cattery

Athena holds such a special place in our hearts—she was the very first kitten born in our cattery.

From the beginning, she has been an incredibly affectionate girl with the loudest, most comforting purr.

We’re happy to share that Athena has been adopted by a wonderful, loving family in Edmonton who have welcomed our kittens into their home before.

We know she will be cherished, spoiled, and surrounded by love every day.

Athena, my sweet girl—you will be deeply missed. ❤️
