Our shop will be closed OCTOBER 22 - NOVEMBER 19 for self-care.
I would like to thank each and every one of you who continue to support Mimio & Co. It brings me so much joy to see photogaphs of my products on your furry family members. It means the world to me when you include our products in your fur babe's collection amongst all the other talented brands that make awesome products!
For those of you who are not aware, Mimio is run by one person. I maintain the brand, create content, post on social media, respond to your comments and inquiries on social media/emails, sourcing materials, process orders, and design and handmake the accessories for online and wholesale orders, packaging... you get the idea.
It's a lot for one person, but luckily I'm fueled by the support of family and friends along with the pet community and fellow small business owners, now friends.
You are the reason why I enjoyed operating Mimio despite some challenges in work-life balance. Organizing events that brought us together and getting to know one another, having you visit me as a vendor at markets, and engaging in real conversations and building relationships via social platforms was the fuel to my creativity.
Within the past year Mimio has grown substantially and it has put me to work twice the amount of time I would put into my full time career, and if not more. But guess what, I never left my full time career as a Policy Analyst! I discovered that I no longer have enough hours in a day to do both on top of making time for what gives me fuel and a life outside of work. Sustaining Mimio became super challenging and so I'm working through this.
I'm taking a break!
Once we're back from our self-care break we'll be ready to launch our Holiday collection and we'll be having an exciting event.
