For all that B.F Skinner gave to the world? He never once EVER declared himself an "expert" in behavior.

The first line of his book "About Behaviorism" that people don't want to read? States this clearly.

Behaviorism is not the Science of human behavior; it is the philosophy of that Science.

What is philosophy? It's a quest for knowledge. He is stating that he hasn't got it all figured out. If Skinner wouldn't declare himself an expert - what gives dog trainers or behaviorists the right to do so?

And when you call yourself an "expert" - it negates the philosophy. Ends the need to learn.

I have NEVER declared myself an expert in anything. We are not arrogant enough to carry "group expert" labels.

Is "behavior" the biggest lie in the dog industry?
We tell dogs to "behave" as if they have a free-will toggle switch. But when your dog’s hackles stand up on the back of their neck, there is no choice. It is a raw, involuntary autonomic reflex.
Yet, as an industry, we constantly punish dogs for the somatic actions (the lunging, the barking) that immediately follow that exact adrenaline spike. It’s the equivalent of slapping a kid for gasping in a dark room.

Bone-A-Fide K9 - You think this post is a flex? This is a result of pure panic and fear of psychology - and dog owners are seeing right through your panic. You are so scared of the truth coming out.

You actually admit that you are so scared that you sabotage a podcast....

And you really did alot more damage that you realize.

Calling yourself a psychologist? Based on what? Stay tuned - I'm going to point out your flaws.

When owners build a relationship using basic understanding of psychology? They won't need to hire a trainer.

Number one thing I hear from dog owners - I don't trust my dog.
Well - you cannot respect or be confident in that which you do not trust. If trust doesn't exist - the relationship is toxic.

And you're being told to train your way out of a toxic relationship? How's that working for you?

My only goal is to give a dog a relationship - that they never had in their life. As a result - all the dogs behaviors go extinct on their own.

No dog trainer needed. Now you understand why trainers are freaking out over this group. Now you understand why they ridicule anything dealing with relationships. There is no money in it for them when you heal your relationship with your dog.

When you are scared - they make money. This is why keep
pushing the fear - the what if. Be afraid! No. Hell no.

He claims there is no need to train dogs and there's no need to use any tools. He seems to believe Psychology is just a conspiracy.

Obviously this would be only for entertainment purposes. I would essentially just be showing the extremists that dog trainers have to deal with on a daily basis. Simpletons who can't achieve any results that like to challenge real professionals as if they've earned the right to sit at our table and discuss dog training. People who are just putting dogs and the public in unnecessary danger.

Dog trainers, behaviorists and vets mainly push Quadrants of dog training. In reality - they are selling you a load of horse s**t - and calling it psychology. They are selling IGP dog training - but screaming Yay Skinner!

I don't think Larry Krohn realizes just how big of a slam dunk he gave to Radical Behaviorism and the world of Psychology.

What Larry didn't say? You cannot train a dog to behave. Period. End of sentence. The scam is falling apart - and accountability is coming.
