***WARNING Sensitive content ***

Last week, one of our HPS families were driving home late at night and found this poor pup laying on the road. Completely unable to move, the pup was loaded into the truck and taken home for TLC (a warm bath, fresh water and a bit of food for his poor empty belly). He was admitted to Edmonton’s ACCC and they will ensure his welfare.

Our pups have safe and loving homes but there are so many out there that are barely surviving. I am grateful this pup was found and I know the universe will ensure his protection.

Let’s all give our pups an extra squeeze tonight and please keep healing thoughts in mind for this precious boy. 🥰

What an exciting day we’ve had celebrating Paxton at HPS. We’ve really enjoyed our usual Tuesday crew and Blue joined us to spend the special day with his bestie (Pax). 💙🧡

Today we celebrated with a doggy pizza lunch and celebratory cake for our 👣 (human) friends that stopped in to celebrate with us. If you’re in the area this afternoon, pop in for a piece of cake and doggy loot. **cake is all gone**

We’ve had a big day so for now, pups are snoozing before their families pick them up for the day. Thank you so much to our pawsome friends for such a great day! 🐾❤️🐾

Who I am and what’s this doggy business...

Primarily, I am a dog-mom to two amazing beagle boys but I am also an experienced dog sitter, trainer (behavioural and physical rehabilitation), and have provided foster-care to rescued dogs (Beagle Paws Rescue) for many years. I understand doggy behaviours (toys to giant breeds) and know what to watch for to encourage positive doggy behaviour.

I also understand the challenges dog-parents go through trusting someone to ensure comfort, care and safety for their dog’s care -- be it during the day, overnight or short/long-term stays.

I have been providing home-based doggy dayplay and overnight stays for the past few years. My experience and knowledge with dogs is life-long and I am able to provide safe and trusting care to your doggy companions. In my care, all dogs are cared for in the same manner as my boys and social graces are always encouraged.

We have a home that is doggy appropriate with a securely fenced backyard that is locked, safe, clean and dogs are always supervised. Our doggy guests are able to relax, play games (the boys love interactive and learning games) and are cared for by someone that understands doggy temperaments and personalities (they are all unique little characters).
