HPS Highlights - Nov. 24-30

Hoping our Weekly Highlights finds all our HPS family and friends well and staying cosy.

For the week of Nov. 24-30, we started off busy with Puppy Bucket joining us for dayplay on Monday.

• Tuesday was our typical Big Dogs Day with Jake and Josie and Blue ready for fun and I finally met Puppy Cooper, Oliver’s new little family member.

• Wednesday was a quiet day with Whiskey and Nick joining Pax for some fun around the pergola and Oliver also celebrated his 4th birthday.

• Thursday was busy and the pack was split between snoozing and rounds around the pergola.

• Friday was very eventful as it was our first official ❄️ SnowYaY ❄️ of the season and it was made better with it being FriYaY so Whiskey, Lucky and Paxton celebrated with many rounds around the pergola and later the beag girls (Ivy and Mia) also joined us for sleepovers.

• Saturday we were joined by Bestie, Tetley and her housemate Henry for sleepovers.

And today is Sunday and puppies are all snoring and enjoying a cozy day inside because it was a very cold start this morning - Brrrr… (-18c)🥶

Who I am and what’s this doggy business...

Primarily, I am a dog-mom to two amazing beagle boys but I am also an experienced dog sitter, trainer (behavioural and physical rehabilitation), and have provided foster-care to rescued dogs (Beagle Paws Rescue) for many years. I understand doggy behaviours (toys to giant breeds) and know what to watch for to encourage positive doggy behaviour.

I also understand the challenges dog-parents go through trusting someone to ensure comfort, care and safety for their dog’s care -- be it during the day, overnight or short/long-term stays.

I have been providing home-based doggy dayplay and overnight stays for the past few years. My experience and knowledge with dogs is life-long and I am able to provide safe and trusting care to your doggy companions. In my care, all dogs are cared for in the same manner as my boys and social graces are always encouraged.

We have a home that is doggy appropriate with a securely fenced backyard that is locked, safe, clean and dogs are always supervised. Our doggy guests are able to relax, play games (the boys love interactive and learning games) and are cared for by someone that understands doggy temperaments and personalities (they are all unique little characters).
