Come join me and Edmonton Holistic Veterinary Clinic for an event to honour the lives of beloved animal companions both earth-side and departed.

Edmonton Holistic Veterinary Clinic will be hosting a Celebration of Life and the Human-Animal Bond on Sunday, July 6th from 11:30am - 2:30pm, at the Capilano Park picnic area in Edmonton's River Valley.

All are welcome - doggos included - to join us as we celebrate the deep and enduring connection we share with our animal companions, both past and present. This special gathering is a space to honour the unconditional love, joy, and comfort our pets have brought into our lives.

What to expect:

🌿 Sharing stories, memories, and moments of connection
🕯️ Taking part in peaceful meditation and reflective activities
💞 Celebrating the lives and spirits of the animals who've touched our hearts

I have done this for each of my coffee crew, and I am so grateful I did. It was so difficult. I have also sat with folks as they have said their final goodbyes. You don't have to go through it alone. 🐾🙏🌈😭

Facebook memories can be hard. They really throw me off. This was me with my heart dog Bean. I took a few minutes to throughout the day to remember my boy. Miss you my bubs.

One thing that can still be difficult with my current animals is when they have a health issue. Going to the vet isn't the issue, but them having an illness or injury or infection makes me anxious. Having lost my beloved heart animal in the past, I get worried when my current furbabies are sick.
