AlbertaACHI Chapter of the International Assoc of Home Inspectors of Canada We are an association of home inspectors in Alberta dedicated to the improvement of our industry and knowledge of our members.

It is our aim to ensure our members are constantly improving the knowledge they have of their profession so that their customers receive the finest and most complete inspection possible. On September 1, 2011, new regulations to licence Home Inspectors and Home Inspection Businesses came into effect in Alberta. Under these new rules all home inspectors operating in Alberta were required to meet cer

tain criteria set out by the Alberta government . All of the members of our association have met or exceeded those requirements and are fully licenced. Our association has set up a training program designed to ensure new inspectors coming into our profession are able to meet the government’s requirements for licencing and earn their “Certified Canadian Home Inspector” (CCHI) designation.

AlbertaACHI's Home Inspection Demo 2025
This event is open to all AlbertaACHI & InterNACHI members.

We welcome all experienced inspectors as well as new inspectors as we review the methodology of a home inspection. We will conduct a physical examination of a home and discuss proper ways to document our findings in a written report following the Internachi Standards of Practice. There will be open discussion throughout.

This event is free of charge for AlbertaACHI members.

Fee for Internachi members is $100.00 and the fee for all non members is $150.00.

Payment can be made via email transfer to [email protected]. Please include your name and company for reference.

AlbertaACHI's AGM 2025
We welcome all experienced inspectors as well as new inspectors to AlbertaACHI's 2025 AGM, great way to keep your continuing education credits up to date

We will be having presenters on topics such as

1. Concrete/Cement and the process of what to look for whether it be driveway/sidewalks or foundation problems to watch out for. Don't miss this educational presentation to keep you up on what to look for.

2. Septic systems and how to inspect them correct and things to watch out for
