Having dogs that are environmentally sound is a big priority for me. I put a lot of work into each and every one of my dogs, such that they can move through public spaces confidently, calmly (i.e. in a state of low arousal), and displaying friendly body language while still ignoring strangers. I like all my dogs to have exceptional obedience, and be able to work (i.e. perform any skill on cue) in all public spaces. When they are adults (and have loads of skills) it can be easy to stop doing this training, but I make it a priority; I get my dogs out to public places (not just to drag them along while I shop) but with specific intentions of training. If you have a sport dog and want them to be good in a trial environmental... start with a regular public environment first 😊.

This morning my dogs breakfast contained raw lamb, raw turkey, quail eggs, plain sheep yogart, coconut kefir, bananas, spinach, radishes, green peas, mangos, cherry tomatoes, purple cabbage, turmeric, cinnamon, h**p hearts, and omega 3s.

I haven't been as diligent with their nutrution in recent months, but Flo's sprained toe has really pushed me to be better again 🥰😊💪!

Flo earned 2 AAC titles today 🤩!

SGDC (Starters Games Dog of Canada), and
MSCDC (Masters Steeplechase Dog of Canada)

Getting these titles was an important final step to be eligible to try out for the AAC National Team heading to the IFCS World Agility Championships in 2026. I'm really excited to try out for the team this year! Let's hope we have some great runs at Nationals this August 💪😁🤩.

Thanks to and for hosting a great trial today. It's always a pleasure to run in your beautiful facility 😊.

Flo and I enjoyed participating in the UKI at Home trial (week 170), hosted by . Here are our runs (Agility 1, Agility 2, Jumpers 1, and Jumpers 2) in the 60x40 Ring size. Flo got all of her Qs and I had a lovely morning with the great group of folks that participated 😊. Agility is so much more fun when you're with great people!!!

That's a wrap on the AB/NWT AAC Regionals. Flo and I had a blast!

5th place in the Steeplechase pre-event, 4 top ten placements in Regional events, qualified for Nationals with our personal best, and placed 10th cumulatively in the 24" category (which had some wicked fast dogs this year). Flo and I need to get in better shape if we have any hope of catching those Belgian Shepherds at Nationals!!🤪😁
