We are absolutely heartbroken to share that Maggie is being returned to PAWS yet again - for the THIRD time in her life at almost 10 years old.

We are currently making arrangements to bring her back into our care, but we are desperately hoping we can find another option before she ends up back in shelter, which she struggles with.

Maggie would do best in a home with:
➖ No other pets
➖ A fully fenced yard
➖ Someone willing to give a sweet senior girl the stability and love into her golden years as she deserves!

🩵 ALOE & COWBOY 🩵

Even though they’d love to keep having playdates, we’d be thrilled to see each of them heading home with families of their very own. 🩵🐾

These two love to spend their days wrestling, chasing zoomies, being goofy together, and hanging out side by side.

Cowboy, in particular, has struggled with shelter life and being around other dogs. But after taking things slow and allowing gradual introductions, he finally found a friend in Aloe - and they’ve been inseparable since!

If you’re looking for a puppy without the challenges of the very young puppy stage, both Aloe and Cowboy are still under a year old and are approaching their first birthdays. They’re at that fun age where their personalities are shining through, but they’re past some of the most demanding puppy months.

Despite being wonderful dogs, both have received very little interest, and we’re really hoping this is the month they find their people 🩵

Tilda has been patiently waiting far too long for the right family to come along, and sponsors like Dana help make her stay more comfortable while she waits for her happy ending. PAWS For Life Rescue would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to the Edmonton Police Service Cadets for hosting a donation drive and adoption event for PAWS for Life Rescue recently!

As you can see, our adoptable dogs had an AMAZING time soaking up all the love, attention, and cuddles from everyone who stopped by and to top it all off… our sweet adoptable Cupcake found her forever family after leaving with an application for adoption!

Thank you again to the EPS Cadets for supporting our dogs and for all you do for the community! 🩵🐾

Ripley is a young Border Collie X who recently came into our care as a transfer from Parkland County Animal Shelter

This handsome boy is incredibly sweet, absolutely loves attention, and has already been winning hearts with his loveable personality! We especially love Ripley’s little blue “twinkle” in one of his eyes 🩵

We’re excited to get to know him better as he settles into rescue life and can’t wait to share more updates soon as we get him vetted and ready to find his forever home 🐾

About Shiloh:
Shiloh is a sweet and gentle girl with a quiet nature. Since arriving in our care as a transfer from Parkland County Animal Control after being found as a stray alongside her mom and sister, she has been slowly learning to come out of her shell and trust the people around her. 🩵

While she can be a little shy at first in new situations, Shiloh has such a loving and goofy personality once she feels safe and comfortable. She is an incredibly smart girl and has already made huge progress while in foster care, gaining confidence more and more each day.

We believe Shiloh would thrive in a patient and understanding home that will continue helping her build confidence at her own pace. Another calm, confident dog in the home would likely be a huge benefit for her and help show her the ropes!

Adoption Fee: $475
Includes microchip, spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, and deworming.
