I had 4 overripe pears. l could make a pear tart, but I really didn't want to make crust. Oops, no baking powder but I do have baking soda but I've got Buttermilk.
So I mixed up the dry mix for biscuit dough then I replaced the liquid with an egg and buttermilk. I spread that into an overproof pan. Next I peeled and sliced those pears. I wanted a crispy top so I lightly sprinkled on some brown sugar and of course pears needed some cinnamon.
I baked it at 450 for 15 min. Yumm
