Exciting news! Yikes! Dogs is looking to add some new friends to our weekly group walks. Details below! 🤩🤩🤩

Monday morning walks - accepting 2 new clients in the Sherwood Park area!

Monday afternoon and Thursday morning walks - accepting 2-3 new clients in the Strathcona, Belgravia and Terwillegar areas!

Yikes! Dogs group walks are specially catered to creating strong bonds between the dogs, and equipping each dog with strong, reliable off leash skills using only the most modern science-based dog training methods. This requires setting each dog up for success by having clients commit to the same day/time each week. Every walk has the same dogs (unless a new friend is joining the group!) so your dog is not with strange dogs every time, and they are able to build confidence and practice social skills, as well as make life long friends!

I am officially (finally! jeez) a certified/accredited dog trainer! 🤩🥳🎉

Wow it has been a long road, almost 10 years, of studying dog behavior, body language, working with dogs and their people in daycare and training and running this business! I am now teaching training classes at and working with some amazing and passionate trainers. Still doing my regular weekly Yikes! walks which fill me with so much joy. Being certified is something I've strived for for YEARS, and there's unfortunately so many organizations that just did not align with my personal values of dog training even though they're more widely recognized. The IAABC is a wonderful organization that is committed to the most modern training methods and is inclusive to everyone interested in the R+ dog pro industry.

For those who have been on this journey with me from day one or day 3000, I couldn't have done this without you!

Things are happening! Got my certificate of completion for the Pro Dog Training course with the ! Currently working through my application for the IAABC-ADT (accredited dog trainer) certification. Becoming a certified trainer is something I've been working towards for years now, but wasn't accessible to me due to life/health things and financial barriers. I'm really proud of myself for going through this course over the last 6 months and preparing myself physically and mentally to work to this certification!! I'm doing the things!!

Our classes:
🐾Puppy Socialization and Enrichment - Ages 8-16 weeks - 4 week series
🐾Puppy Essentials - Ages 4-6 months - 6 week series
🐾Life Skills Level 1 - All ages 6+ months - 6 week series
🐾Life Skills Level 2 - All ages 6+ months - 6 week series

Classes will be held at Sherwood Barks Daycare and Training!
