Most of us need someone around us who empowers and helps us feel able, on track, in balance, hopeful. Even if they don’t use words, they believe in us - we look at them and what we see reflected back is our own power. This happens threefold at our Women’s Wilderness Retreat in Nordegg, Alberta. With a New Year comes new goals, resolutions and intentions. Unfortunately the majority of of these aspirations are soon forgotten or seem impossible to attain. Why is that?🤔 People are left feeling defeated, deflated and lose confidence in themselves. Why is it so challenging to follow through with those intentions?? A few reasons- it’s a bit of a process which involves - knowing yourself and your values system, understanding emotional connections to behaviour or patterns, and the ability to stay focused. Well that’s a wrap on an amazing 3 days at our Women’s Wilderness Retreat 🌲🏔🐴💚 Mother Nature is the best supporter of our body’s health - mental, physical, emotional and spiritual. ✌🏻I’m grateful for the fantastic group of women that came together for a weekend of adventure, healing, personal growth, and friendship. Our fabulous hosts at went above and beyond to keep us fed and supplied with great horses. shared her wisdom and methods for keeping healthy bodies and finding deep sleep. Til next year!! 🤠❤️✌🏻

We had a great day at our Women’s One Day Retreat yesterday. Our theme was celebrating ourselves. When we step back and really figure out what holds meaning for us, we can experience life on our own terms. I’m thankful for the amazing group of women who joined us yesterday…and a big shout out to Teri at the Y-Knott Ranch West for sharing her space and beautiful herd of horses 😊🐴👏🏻
