Come see us this Sunday, September 21st at the Pet Parade in the Plaza event!

We will have a booth with information on our programs, our current adoptables, how to get involved and even some freebies for the first few to visit us!

We will also be offering small pet nail trims by donation to our rescue efforts on-site (please note, we do not do cats or dogs! K9 Mobile will be there to assist with those). If you would rather a nail trim done in the comfort of your home, please message us so we can schedule 🐰

We will even have one of our current adoptables to meet at our booth! Can you guess who might make an appearance? 🐰

We need a few fosters for mother cats with baby kittens! 😺 The shelter is a stressful place for a mama to try to raise her babies, so we always like to place them into foster care as soon as possible. ❤️ We currently have several groups already in foster, and within the last week have had three more mamas either come in with babies or give birth at the shelter! 😯

It is important for these mamas to have a quiet room to be in (away from other animals) - but it doesn’t have to be big or fancy! Even a large bathroom can work. 😊 The first few weeks the kittens will spend 100% of their time in a nesting box where mama takes care of them and you take care of mama - and then the cuteness really begins as the babies learn to be cats! Fosters help make sure they learn to use the litter box, eat wet and dry food, and most importantly get socialized to love people. 🥰 Our foster coordinator is available every step of the way with guidance.

We’d like to give a huge shoutout to our friends at our local Pet Valu stores! During PAW month they raised over ✨$9,500✨ to help the shelter animals! Thank you to the store teams for making this a success, and for all of you who donated. 🙌🏻This generous donation will go a long way for the pets in our care. ❤️

Don’t forget to stop into their stores to see our adoptable shelter cats! Each store helps us out by housing a shelter cat or kittens to help them find homes. We’ve had dozens of kitties find their happy furevers through this partnership already this year! 😺🐾
