Can you believe that Saffron & Laurel are still here!? As much as we wish it was.. unfortunately, NO this is not an April fools day joke! 😥

These two bonded ginger girls have been living in the shelter for 8 months now and are only just turning 1 year old! That's 3/4's of their entire life! We can't figure out what's going on, as they are just about as sweet as they come. These two are such fun loving little purr machines, that love to play, and be around people!

Saffron was diagnosed with a condition causing her to go blind before the age of 2, but don't let that deter you! With the help of Laurel guiding her, these two will live long happy lives together!

Saffron and Laurel are truly two peas in a pod, and the absolute best of friends! We would love nothing more than to find them best possible home, willing to look past Saffron's ailment and love them all just the same!

Please be aware of the signs of heatstroke. This can happen more easily to dogs with short snouts. Even if they aren’t in direct sunlight. Even exertion when the ambient air temperature is high, is enough to cause heat stroke. If you suspect heat stroke, cool your dog by getting them wet, remove from the hot environment and take to the vet immediately. Please be safe everyone.
