I have been doing some thinking with the recent influx of people messaging to add their dogs to our crew weather it be boarding or daycare. I have never really explained how things work here. This is a 2 bedroom bungalow that the spare room now is a way to the back yard where the play, they have a good sized covered deck to get away from the weather and shade through out the yard on hot days. I am a 1 woman show with a Husband that helps out on his days off from his full time job. I use to have my parents very involved so when i needed a day for appointments they would come handle things while I was gone. I never really thought I would need a back-up plan for this. In the past couple of years my patents have both become ill and we lost my mom at easter so the two people that knew the dogs the best other then Dale and I can no longer help out.
This is where i want to thank all my wonderful clients for their patients in me needing time off for my husbands and my own medical appointments, I know it effects your dogs play time and i am trying my best to keep that to a minimal amount. This year we are taking a 2 week vacation, my first one since starting this over 10 years ago. I usually take time but try and make it with a weekend in between to cut down on the amount of missed daycare days. We are also taking limited new dogs as we are pretty busy but we are trying to fit people in with keeping our numbers at a responsible amount. This year our vacation will be 2 full weeks I do apologize this affects any of our clients in a negative way but with both of our health issues in the last little while and losing my mom I feel that taking a break for two weeks is needed. Because we care for your dogs in our home it makes it hard to have any one step in to take care of the dogs while we are enjoying some time off so the unfortunate thing is that just leaves you guys in a pickle for two weeks hopefully everybody will be able to keep pups of trouble until we open back up his loving arms cuz I'm sure by the end of the two weeks will be missing all of your furry children.
I got a little off track back to the new people interested in coming. The dogs share our home they hang and play in our living room while waiting for drop.offs and pick ups till we go to play when boarding they share our whole house with us so this is where I can not take any dog that are not social they must be friendly with all dogs big and small. Cause our crew all hang together. They also must like cats as we have 2. They must be up to date on vaccines and flea,tick and worm treated.
I also want to take this time to thank the new people messaging i am trying my best to get back to you and sew where I can fit you in. If you dont hear back from me please feel free to message again like I said things are busy. For the most part most daycare is full I can squeeze in some boarding but you need a pre visit which is free. Give me a good amount of time before you need me for boarding as I fit your visits in with daycare and only do it on quiter days so your dog is not a overwhelming experience for your dog.
