As many of you already know I had my son Jack 3 weeks ago, and ended up having a c section so I will be returning to work on weds ths 19th of may. I will be shoeing every other week and doing trims in between. So please get in touch to book an appointment 😊 draughts and youngsters that havent been shod will be a few weeks after so that I can really let my incision heal. Really looking forward to seeing you all again 😁

So while I'm new to the area and I have extra time on my hands ( a rare thing for most farriers) I'm making the most of doing some reading.

It's so important as a farrier to learn from other farriers and their findings. Many put hours unpaid into the industry to make us better at what we do 😊🔨🐎

Been to a lovely little Barrel horse this morning who has a couple of competitions coming up.

She's been fitted with a hunter fit in front so that she doesant catch any shoes while going around the barrels at speed, and has been fitted with support behind to support all the structures above whilst twisting and turning, she stood like a gem and was a pleasure to do 😊
