Welcome to Diamond H Ranch (Dawson Creek BC) Paul & Heather Weir. We have a selection of performance, broodmares. We breed to a Driftwood/Sunfrost stallion.

He adds some size and mellow mind to mares with more feel, while not loosing athletic ability! Small intro about Diamond H Horses
We are Paul, Heather, Harley & Abbigail Weir. We run a cow/calf operation with my parents and have raised good ranch horses for personal use. I started riding at 3 and I think it’s safe to say, I was born with a passion for horses. Over the years I developed a love for

creating horses. Whether that be starting our breeding program or training. Our breeding program consists 8 mares currently. Each mare has a complete pedigree top and bottom. I believe that ALL mares should be proven under saddle and witnessed; they carry the disposition and soundness traits that should be passed on to the foal. A breeding mare should be a full package, disposition, conformation and pedigree. I believe the same applies for ANY breeding stallion! The very odd time exceptions to this rule may occur due to injury. From time to time, We have horses in
for training and resale purpose. This group of horses follows most of the same guidelines as above (disposition and conformation most important) they should be a full package; they may be home grown prospects or horses I have purchased with the intent to develop and sell. Well a bit later then we wanted but the 2025 bulls are ready to post!

We have 2 Fullblood and 1 Purebred Registered yearling simmental bulls available.

Theese boys have been on 6lbs of rolled oats and barley a day and alfalfa/grass hay. They are easy to handle and have a healthy respect for dogs.

Tonight let's post our Trixxy!
daughter of WR THIS CATS SMART. This will be her 1st Drifter baby.

This mare is a little fire cracker and she's a cutie! Trixxy has been a great producer. Her foal last year was sired by a son of Woody Be Tuff.

I'm excited for them all!!! but this one should be a lil extra special with that HBC blood. Not to mention a drizzle of Sonitas Last.

Okay! Tonight let's try a fun one. I really didn't think or expect this ole sweet heart to rebreed... But... Last few days she has me 🤔 wondering...

I'm going to post a picture (facing right) around tbe same time last year!!!! when she was INFACT pregnant 🤰 😍

This mare has NCHA earnings of 10k she is a Daughter of Bet On Me 498 (Smart Little Lena son) and out of a money earning daughter of High Brow Cat. She is very dear to me and my family. She foaled once in 2018, then never again until last year (2025) When she gifted us a perfect keeper filly. If she is she will be bred back to Drifter.

I figured I might as well kick some foal comming announcements with a NEW LADY.

I had my eye on this mare for years, followed her around the country and finally this spring I was able to sn**ch her up!!! This mare is a power house. She's big and strong and very much a sweet heart.

Fun fact... Many many years ago I worked at a stallion station that stood Brennas Kid!!! I LOVED him!! so for me it's neat to have a grand daughter!!! ✨️

Safe to say she us in foal to our beloved Drifter for a 2026 baby!!! I'm excited to see what they produce.

My little girls 4 and 6 had been begging me to "try and ride" Drifter (The stallion). For those new he, is 7 yrs old and we use him for all aspects on the Ranch. As well as we have had him at North Cache Ranch Rodeo, Kiskatnaw fall fair and numerous branding in the spring. My cousin who has been out of the saddle for near 20 yrs also had her first ride back on him. Hes who we trust the most. He is so loving and kind. He truly cares deeply for people and baby sits. While still being able to get the job done and look not to bad doing it. Anyway.. I could go on and on.. But no one like a bragger and it's against my spiritual believes to be prideful.. So here is some pictures from this past weekend ❤️

Well this past weekend was one for the books.

Drifter and his best friend Ollie got the call to last min join a North Cache Ranch Rodeo team. They did a great job, their jockeys need to practice lol

It's nice to be blessed with a stud that handles crowds so respectfully. Thank You Drifter.

The community of Ranch Rodeo friends and family does nothing more than fill our cups! It's always such a honor to be part.

Special thanks to Thiessen Ranch for hosting. Really hope to be back next year.

This lil girl is everything we dreamed of when crossing Drifter on our Old studs mares. We had 2 foals this year out of Hawk daughters and neither let us down.

This filly is built to do most anything, she has color down the road to, if she earns the right to be a momma! Down the fence or on the other end of a rope, I don't think it will make difference to her. Her dam was held out of baby service for next year and will go back into saddle horse pen for a year or so.

Well it's official! Drifter is a $$$ earner.. LTE $40! Won in Western Pleasure, Western Equitation and also Trail. He would of had more but Paul Weir Beat us in 2 classes and🤪!!!

We truly had the best weekend. Saturday the big boys and Sunday the light horse. It was hot but we were pleased how everyone handled the crowd. Our little girls tried there best, learned and most importantly had fun!!!!

Kiskatnaw had a awesome turn out. So much work for all that put it on. I'd like to send a very special thanks to all those behind the scene (Tracy Short). Also,Thank You to the judges, not a easy job and HOT 🥵
