Sweet Hershey the Havanese ๐Ÿ’•

Hershey is the loveliest little girl, but grooming hasnโ€™t always been easy for her. She carries some trauma and a lot of anxiety around it, so every appointment is about going slow, building trust, and meeting her where sheโ€™s at.

This was only her second groom with me, and while you canโ€™t undo years of stress overnight, weโ€™re already seeing progress.

The moment that melted my heart? During this most recent groom, Hershey actually sought out comfort from me. ๐Ÿฅน

Those little moments mean everything. Theyโ€™re a sign that the trust is starting to build, and that sheโ€™s beginning to feel safe. Iโ€™m grateful that her family is trusting me with little Hershey.

Iโ€™m so proud of this little lady. One gentle step at a time.
