Farm fresh produce boxes were so fun to put together this year!

Some aspects of our garden didn’t really take off as anticipated, like our pumpkins, squash and brussel sprouts, so we are not going to be offering any more farm boxes for the season. We will continue to have items like Honey, Candles and Soaps in The Old General Store Crysler and available on our website.

Thank you Crysler Friends all for your support, can’t wait to do it again next year! 🥰

The garden has come so far over the last two years...and we are horrible at sharing progress. 🙃

This is one of 3 rows, the garden is ~50ft × 30ft. This year we decided to really double down on easy maintenance and have added an entire radius of wood chips around the garden to help keep things at bay.

In the back we have a large hammock to hang out and its a glorious way to end a day on the farm.

The survived the winter! Well some did. Started 2020 with 2 hives and they didn't survive. Started over 2021 with 4 hives and had 2 survive the winter. This is so exciting! We've never had them on the property this early before. I can't wait till all the fruit trees start to bloom!

A fresh layer of wood conditioner on my favorite cutting board gives it a fresh, rich colour and keeps it healthy and whole!

Our farm made Wood conditioner has a light lemon scent and is food grade so you can use it on anything in the kitchen, including counter tops!

Goat Milk, Honey and Sandalwood & Juniper Soap now available, limited quantity.
The combination of Goat Milk and Honey deeply hydrates the skin, leaving it moisturized and soft when done. Every bar is lightly scented with Sandalwood and Juniper essential oils.
This is a must have as winter rolls in!

All soaps are made in small batches so each design and topping is unique. They are made with golden Honey from on our farm and locally sourced Goat Milk.

This Eastern Screech Owl made an appearance in the chicken coop!

Mike has heard it in the neighbourhood on and off over the last few weeks, but it was a wonderful surprise to get a glimpse of it in the coop. It most likely found its way in there from following the mice that love to take the chicken feed. Now, we’ve set up trail cams in the barn to try to catch another glimpse.

We're nearly done prepping for winter!

The bees, strawberry rows, blueberry bushes, nectarine tree, juniper trees and garden have all been tucked in with some added protection from the deep cold and high winds we'll get early next year.
