Hi, My name is Basil and I work livestock security on a farm near Salmo, BC. I want to talk with you about how important it is right now and into the future to support small and medium sized Canadian businesses. I am going to talk about one of my favorite family owned local raw pet food companies Pets Go Raw that is made down the road in Cranbrook, BC. But this could apply to any one of the thousands of Canadian owned and operated businesses in our communities. Businesses like Pets Go Raw and so many others spend their money locally, create jobs locally, these employees spend their money locally, Pets Go Raw buys ingredients from Canadian farmers and Canadian food producers who spend their money locally and create jobs, these employees spend their money locally, Pets Go Raw partners with Canadian retailers to sell their pet food, these retailers spend their money locally and create jobs, their employees spend their money locally, and so on. This creates a loop where we are all connected and reliant on each other to prosper and succeed. When you support local family owned Canadian businesses you are supporting your neighbors, friends, countrymen, & importantly you are supporting yourself because you are part of the local economy cycle. So buy Canadian, buy local, buy Pets Go Raw, & close the loop people. Be part of the solution. Anyway, it looks like a crow is pestering my chickens so I better get back to work.
