Hi again everyone!
This will be my fourth season selling naturally shed antlers from here on Vancouver Island! And it’s because of all your antler loving dogs that I have been able to keep this up 🐶.
I continue to tell people if they have any issues to let me know…cracked teeth, and pieces caught in their dogs digestive system has been a major concern for a lot of dog parents and I can 100% say without feeling guilty that in four years I haven’t had one customer tell me that their dog has cracked a tooth or had any health issues while using my antlers.
The reason is mine are raw and completely digestible! Antlers found in pet stores have to be processed as they come from game farms. When this happens they get harder and can cause real issues!
My shed antlers are never processed, no elk farmed, no elk harmed! 🙂 They’re basically the best form of a “bone” as technically antlers are bones. They have marrow that contains calcium magnesium and a whole bunch more different vitamins.
Oh and did I mention that @ 40$/pound (2.50/oz) I can guarantee my prices are waaaay cheaper than pet stores!
I can go on and on but why not come down and see me in Esquimalt this weekend! 1pm - 5pm on April 5th at the Macaulay Point parking lot (Esquimalt Anglers Association)
I will be making stops along the way on April 5th from the Comox Valley so Nanaimo, Parksville, Duncan I’m looking at you! We will be coming back up on April 7th if that works better for some folks.
I also make buttons, handles for knifes, fire stickers, little mushroom carvings and pretty much anything you can think of for antlers uses! I even save the powder when I cut them to bake into homemade dog treats
