We are looking to add an animal care attendant to our team. We are seeking reliable and compassionate applicants who have experience working with dogs and cats.
Applicants must be an animal lover, comfortable interacting with animals, and dedicated to providing them with a caring and calm environment.
This position will include cleaning duties, animal socialization and care, medication administration, as well as other shelter responsibilities.
Applicants must be proficient in technology with strong computer skills.
Applicants must have a valid drivers license.
This position would be ideal for an individual who has completed the veterinary assistant program, or similar training. On site training and mentorship will be provided to the successful candidate, and we offer opportunity for career growth.
Success in this position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.
This position will comprise of morning shifts (9:00am to 1:00pm) including weekend work. Flexible hours and evening work may be required.
A valid criminal record and vulnerable sectors check must be provided prior to the commencement of employment.
