We attended the Eerie Shores Kennel Club Show from June 6th - 8th, in Caledonia. Both Lainey, aka: Fogelhund’s Dreamcatcher, and Gema, aka: GCH Fogelhund’s Miss Demeanor FDJ CGN. , made us very proud in a lovely lineup of dogs.
At the Ontario All Pointing Breed Field Dog Specialty, under Judge Warner Cespedes Arias, Lainey went 1st in her class, Reserve Winners Bitch and Best Puppy in Breed.
On Saturday, at the Eerie Shores Show, under Judge Robert Dawson, Lainey went 1st in her class and Reserve Winners Bitch.
Also on the same day, at the GSPCC Specialty we had both Gema and Lainey in the ring.
First under Judge Judith Brown, in Sweepstakes, Lainey took a 1st in her class.
Following Sweeps was the club Specialty under Judge Kay Sneath.
Lainey earned a 1st in her class, Winners Bitch and Best Puppy in Breed.
Gema won Best Pointing/Water Bitch as well as Select Bitch.
Thanks to all the judges for recognizing our girls in a lineup of stiff competition.
Thankyou to all the hard work by club members, judges and volunteers to put on another memorable show.
A special mention to good friends, Maria Foster, for stepping into the ring with Lainey, while I was busy in the ring with Gema. Also, Deborah Dorken, for driving and keeping me company over a long weekend of showing.
Congratulations to all the other competitors and winners. It was so lovely to see old and new friends, and enjoy good times. See you all at the next show!
