Hi friends. We’ve had plenty of calls and questions today regarding the current wildfire situation and we feel your concern and fear! Please do not worry and do not hesitate to reach out if you need assistance. We will keep you updated as things advance and change. Please know we are monitoring closely and are ready to act at a moments notice. As ever, thank you to our province’s amazing first responders. Your skills and dedication to keeping us safe are deeply appreciated and we are forever grateful.

Sometimes the little things you remember become the big things when you lose your darling companion. Our aftercare specialist, Paula, was chatting with a dog mom earlier today about how much her special guy loved romping in the grass. She mentioned that she would love if he had a little with him, as he just loved his time outside and playing in the grass. Paula assured her she would take care of it, and that she did! Every pet that arrives at Angel Paws is a member of our own pack. Your stories and chats help us to connect. Thank you for sharing a little of their lives with us.

This program is not affiliated with us, but we are so thrilled that there are options available when people are in need. For those who are struggling and need a little extra help, ease reach out. Look for support. The loss of a pet is often overwhelming and there are those available to provide an ear or a supporting shoulder. Please check into this or other programs. We will help how we can.

Losing a pet is a difficult experience. While grief can be overwhelming, it’s important to remember that you are not alone, and support is available.

This week’s session will explore the emotions that arise from losing a pet and share helpful coping strategies to help you heal and find comfort during this challenging time.

It’s a beautiful early morning here in the memory garden. We would like to thank our special friends at the CBS Animal Hospital for donating a beautiful butterfly bush to our garden this year. We can’t wait to watch it grow and flourish in the years to come. We have a few special memorials that are near and dear to us. We welcome you to come and visit the garden anytime you like. Drop in and see us with any questions.

Today is the day! We’re at the Pet Expo and would love to see you! Come on out, we’ll be here today from 10-5 and tomorrow from 10-4 with the 3rd annual memorialbubble release at 10:30 (tomorrow). Drop by and support the beagles!

Angel Paws is so excited to be returning to the Pet Expo this weekend! We love to get together with all the pet owners and other vendors, chat with everyone and get out in public to meet with you all. Please drop by and visit with us! We will be doing our third annual bubble release in memory of our beloved passed pets on Sunday morning, 10:30. Please join us if you can. We’d love to see you. There are so many great events happening. Here’s the schedule. Please come out to the new location at the Jack Byrne Arena and support our wonderful friends at Beagle Paws.
