When I receive a review like this I am beyond words❤️.

During an In Home Board and Train like this one with wee Ranger at just 7 weeks old, I do the ‘heavy lifting’.. get the skills started and depending on how long the dog or puppy is with me we can often get skills solidified.
After puppy goes home, the client and I get together for 3-5 one hour sessions (or more) to ensure the transfer of skills remains successful for both the puppy/dog and the owner.

Reviewing our In Home Board and Train skills!

Walking , impulse work both in the house, in the yard and on our walks.

So many great skills these puppies have acquired, it’s important that we go over them, in different areas and environments to reinforce and reward the skills and to reassure their people they are on the right path.
This way we can ensure success going forward.

The people doing the work also need some positive reinforcement so that they know that they’re on the right path and to keep going forward!

After all, having a teenage puppy is never easy 🤪
