Tough to have a case of the Mondays when our days look like this!

With the heat ramping up, it’s more important than ever to keep our furry friends safe and cool! 🐶☀️

We put together a few tips to help protect your pups during extreme heat- plus a quick reminder of which dogs are more vulnerable when it’s hot out, the signs of heat stroke, and what to do if your pup shows symptoms.

When the weather heats up, keeping your pup safe takes a few extra steps: stay indoors during peak heat, walk during cooler times, and always bring water and take shady breaks. Never leave pets in vehicles, check pavement temps with your hand, and brush (don’t shave!) their coat to help with air flow. Keep an eye on them during exercise- and if they’ll be home alone, ask someone to check in during extreme heat.

At Cornerbrooks, we take heat safety to heart- with cool rest areas, unlimited access to water, and lots of breaks to help pups stay comfortable.

Together, we can make sure every pup stays happy, healthy, and heat-safe this summer 🐾

🎾 Rigby is always looking forward to a game of fetch with his beloved ball!
🐔 Tilly is obsessed with her rubber chicken (and we can’t help but giggle every time we hear it!)

Jack and Hitch soaked up every second of today’s daycare theme- Pup’s in Paradise! 🌴☀️ They had a furtastic time playing with all of their favourite toys during playtime, and finished the day with a soothing massage 💆🏼‍♀️ These sweet pups looked so relaxed, we were very close to curling up beside them for a nap! Let’s just say, they’re living the doggy dream and their aunties couldn’t be happier ❤️🐶
