Poppy is a beautiful girl 🥰

🥺 Someone just needs to take a chance on Poppy.

At only 3 years old, this sweet girl has already faced a mast cell tumour. 💔 But there’s good news: it was removed, showed no signs of spreading, and had low-risk, less-aggressive characteristics. Her prognosis is favourable with routine monitoring. 🩷

Now, all Poppy wants is what every dog deserves: a soft bed, a loving family, and someone who sees the dog—not the diagnosis.

She’s mellow. She’s affectionate. She’s hopeful. And she still has SO much love to give. 🐾

💙 Meet Buddy — a little senior boy looking for a quiet place to call home. 💙

At 11 years young, Buddy has earned the right to slow down and simply enjoy life. 🥹 He’s a sweet Dachshund mix who isn’t looking for adventure or excitement — he’s looking for someone to love him, a soft place to rest, and a peaceful home where he can feel safe.

Buddy may be a little anxious at first, but once he knows he’s home, we think this handsome gentleman is going to make a wonderful professional couch potato. 🛋️❤️

He does well with small dogs and may do well with cats, too. Most of all, Buddy needs companionship and someone who understands that senior dogs deserve just as much love, patience and commitment as the young ones.

🐾 Meet Judah – A Gentle Soul Ready for His Second Chance ❤️

Sometimes life changes in ways we can't control. Judah, a 4-year-old Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog, came to the Northumberland Humane Society after his beloved owner could no longer care for him.

Despite the changes he's faced, Judah remains an absolute gentleman. He knows his basic commands, is eager to please, and has a calm, loving personality that makes everyone he meets fall for him.

Like many bulldogs, Judah has struggled with chronic ear infections. Our medical team is currently treating him, and with continued care in a loving home, we know he'll thrive. His future family will need to be committed to keeping up with his ear care, but Judah is more than worth the extra TLC.

If you're a bulldog lover looking for a loyal companion, Judah could be the perfect addition to your family. All he wants is someone to see beyond his medical needs and love him for the incredible dog he is.
