Gone Wild Kennels was established as a dog boarding facility by Dave and Jackie Lovell in 2004. We are located approximately 13 kms northwest of Cochrane, Alberta. Our family run dog kennel caters to all types of dogs, big and small. In the fall of 2010 we expanded the business to include CATS and renovated our old house. We have the state of the art air filtration and I challenge you to find a be

tter CAT boarding facility in the Calgary area!!! Our philosophy is to create an environment where your four legged family member is safe, happy, has plenty of activity and is well socialized. The 6 large open areas promote play and interaction between all of our guests. Each kennel is set up with a door to allow access to the inside and outside for each of our guests. The inside portion of each kennel is 5 feet by 6 feet and heated for your pets comfort. The outside portion of each kennel is 18 feet long by 5 feet wide. There is no doubling up of dogs in our kennels; however dogs from the same family will have plenty of space when sharing a kennel. We prefer to have a maximum of three dogs in each kennel from the same family, depending on the size of the dogs. Gone Wild Kennels believes that if we have a friendly, active environment for our guests, they are much happier and far less stressed about being away from their family. All of our dogs have play time in the play areas at least three times a day for approximately an hour each time. Because the areas are safe and secure, we are able to spend more time with the dogs outside of their individual kennels. We hope that with a higher level of activity and our interaction with our guests, they will relax and enjoy their time in our kennels.

Trio of pictures from the storm June 4th soon after the dogs were done at 8.30pm. It's not a miss print. The dog clients go out much later then all the other boarding facilities! When the days get longer, I give the clients a romp late at night. Most will close shop at 6pm and call it a day. Not at this place.

I have something in the works since January 2025 . I won't say what it is until it is proven and it will be exciting for others to watch in person and hopefully on line.
The spring 2026 is when it all will unravel.

Apairy is doing great. Lots of brood ready to hatch and become worker bee's like the rest of the bee's you see flying around. They are bringing pollen back to their hive. This pollen is food to feed the new brood and the worker bee's that stay inside the hive and keep everything organized.

Bee's are way smarter than us humans !!!!!

Don't be stealing my girls !

If you notice beehives on the back of any trucks , call the police and report it. There are people around southern Alberta stealing beehives, and this needs to be stopped ! Beehives are very costly. To buy a new box of bee's is approximately $500 . This box is 10 inches long , 8 inches wide, and tall. Imagine what a full box of bees are worth 10's of $1000's of dollars.

Small family run business that does auto detailing and they come to you ! All they need is electricity, and it's done in 2 to 3 hours, depending on how bad your vehicle is.
