Unfortunately due to potential risk with online pharmacies not providing legitimate medications to owners we are not comfortable directly providing a scripts to online pet pharmacies. We want to ensure we are keeping our patients best interest in mind!

Can you spot the difference?
One box was purchased on-line. One through a veterinarian. Both look legitimate right? Which was is the actual product?

The box on the left was ordered from an online pharmacy, whereas the box on the right is what we sell in clinic.

We caution you to do your research and consult with your veterinarian before ordering any drugs through the internet.
There are certainly some licensed, legally operated online pharmacies (more common in the USA), but there are many more counterfeit or illegal pharmacies.
Here are some important things to consider if looking for medications online:
💊 Is the price too good to be true? (Cheap medications may not have the same active ingredient as products sold by your veterinarian)
💊 Does the online pharmacy ask for a prescription from your veterinarian? (Real medications require a valid prescription from your healthcare professional)
💊 Is a licensed pharmacist available through the website to answer any questions?

Remember, the efficacy and safety of a medication cannot be guaranteed unless it is dispensed by your licensed veterinarian or a licensed pharmacy. Some medications purchased online can actually be harmful if they contain the wrong ingredients!! 😱

Gull River Veterinary Services provides Veterinary care for companion animals, including cats and dogs in all shapes and sizes.

Gull River Veterinary Services is nestled in the quaint community of Coboconk Ontario. Our beautiful chalet-style building is located right on HWY 35, making it easily accessible. There is ample room for parking and a doggie rest area. Dr. Mandy Brown, owner and operator, brings 22 years of Veterinary experience to the clinic. She has spent many years working in Emergency and Critical care. Mandy is married with 2 grown-up children and has 2 dogs and 2 cats- all of course rescues from other clinics!

Krista, RVT, started in April 2018 with us and we are very excited to have her here. She brings many years of experience and has a strong interest in dentistry and cats!

Lori, RVT, just started in July 2018. She has relocated to our beautiful area from Oshawa and is loving it! Lori is our Hospital Manager with many years experience as well. She is enjoying getting to know all of the clients and their furry family members. Kathleen, VA, attended Georgian College. She took the Veterinary Assistant program in 2013. She has been a part of the Gull River team since graduation. Kathleen is currently on maternity leave but will be back in the spring of 2019! Thank you for visiting our page.
