Clarenville Area SPCA Adoptables This page will be used to showcase our Adoptable Animals as well as Stray Animals who are looking for their homes.

For daily happenings at The Clarenville SPCA please follow our group https://www.facebook.com/groups/clarenvilleareaspca/ The Clarenville Area SPCA, a registered charity since 1989, is responsible for servicing parts of eastern Newfoundland including the Bonavista Peninsula. While we are affiliated with the SPCA NL, we also work closely with other shelters, rescue groups, and agencies concerned wi

th animal welfare to provide the best level of protection for animals. Our mission is to protect and care for animals that have no other shelter. When possible, we expand our services to include animals whose owners have to relinquish them for one reason or another. We try to spay and neuter as many animals as we can to enhance their adoptability. Our aim is to educate people to treat animals with the respect and love that they deserve and to encourage people to be responsible pet owners.

Meet Piper!
Female, 1 Year Old, Spayed
DOB: July 18/2025

Piper is a very pretty girl and absolutely loves people. She is a German Shepherd Mix who last weighed in at 52lbs. Her previous home felt that she needed a different lifestyle. She is very loving and likes to hang out with us up in the office. She entertains herself with her toys and will come to us when she wants attention. She loves a good belly rub ❤

We want her next home to be permanent so Piper will have to be an only pet. She is very selective on other dogs that she gets along with. She will need a family who will be home more as she is not used to being left alone or in a kennel. She is doing ok here in our large kennels. Her previous home also felt that a must have is a fenced in yard where she can run and not have to be worried about being tied on. We are looking for a home with only adults.

Piper is an active girl and will need someone that will help her burn off some of that energy. We can already see her responding well to assertive person (Stern Voice) She does need to learn some basic manners and has already been in training for some of these things.

Piper has been DA2PP, Bordetella and Rabies vaccinated. She has been dewormed, flea treated and Spayed. She has also had several vet exams with no concerns and is Microchipped.
Please submit an application here: https://form.jotform.com/230175788619266

PLEASE NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS OR THEY WILL BE REMOVED! We will not accept any judgement towards other people’s home/life situation
