Our friends at ABC Cat Rescue are doing a low cost microchipping event! If your cat does not yet have permanent ID this is a great opportunity to ensure that they can make their way back to you easily if they get lost.

The cost is $30, it's only $5 to reserve and you pay the rest when you go to the event.

We are so lucky to have so many great rescues in Chilliwack making a real difference!!

A huge thank you to the entrepreneurial students at A.D. Rundle for your generous donation to Ena's Community Cats!

As a 100% volunteer run, registered charity, every single penny of the donation will go towards helping people with affordable space and neuters for their cats. By preventing unwanted kittens we do our part to reduce the amount of unwanted cats in our community, and extend the lives of every cat that we spay and neuter by negating numerous risks to their health and well-being.

These amazing students raised over $300 for our organization! We send our congratulations to them on their success, and our thanks for their generosity!!

There are new kitties at The Book Man including this little sweetie, Cocoa, a ten year old female.

Her owner has gone into hospice. Cocoa needs a warm lap to cuddle into. She loves people and being picked up. This gentle girl deserves a special retirement home. If you would like to give Cocoa her forever home, please fill out an application to adopt at:

Spring is here, and an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

Spaying/neutering your cats helps to prevent roaming, spraying, unwanted kittens that fill up our shelters beyond capacity, and pyometra, a deadly infection that can be fatal to unspayed female cats.

Let's get your kitties FIXED! We have a sliding scale for those that are on pensions, disability, assistance, or truly struggling to make ends meet.

Males are booking within 1-2 weeks, females within 3-4 weeks. Our trusted veterinarian partners are amazing, and we have facilitated the spay/neuter of 9237 cats to date! You read that right, NINE THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY SEVEN CATS. Let's get to 10,000!
