Hello and welcome (back) to Rosedale Farm Fresh, where everything we offer at our stand is guided by a deep love for delicious food, healthy living, and mindful farming. We’ve never officially introduced ourselves here but it’s been so much fun meeting so many of you in person!
We’re Ron and Willemijn (rhymes with “gold mine”) Maljaars.
We may be known for our eggs (yes, even quail eggs!), but our farm stand is so much more! Our happy chickens enjoy their own apple trees for shade and fruit, and rows of fresh oregano grown in our garden just for them. Around the garden, tomatoes are ripening, elderberries are thriving, and the quail are happily settled and safe in their coop.
Looking ahead, we’ll be offering fresh-picked apples this fall, expanding into beef sales, and continuing to stock all your seasonal favourites in the farm stand like maple and elderberry syrups, hazelnuts, freeze-dried berries, and beef jerky.
Cooking with fresh, wholesome ingredients is part of what inspires us. It’s fun, it’s fulfilling, and it brings people together. We’re honoured to share that joy with you – straight from our farm to your table.
