The Foxy Hound is beginning the search for our next team member!
*no formal grooming experience required*

We have the most amazing team of passionate pet lovers at The Foxy Hound who have all been working together for the past 3-5 years. We are excited to find another equally amazing individual who will enjoy spending their days caring for and beautifying some of the most amazing dogs in the Chilliwack Area!

We are willing to train the right candidate from the ground up! We are also happy to speak with groomers of all skill levels who are open to learning and growing their craft. Your training would be under a nationally ranked competitive Master Groomer and educator, focusing on correct technique and safe handling.

The position is part time to start, with reasonably flexible hours and start date. We have lots of time to find just the right person to add to our Foxy Family.

Ideal Candidate would be:
- A compassionate animal lover
- Willing to work with all breeds of dogs
- Have their own transportation
- Be willing to set and stick to a schedule (Days/Times can be flexible, some Saturday shifts required)
- Be physically able to stand and move about most of the day, lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Be willing and able to work with a team to complete all tasks required

Our lead groomer took on an exciting project recently! Transforming a talented canine actor, Fen the Alaskan Malamute into a Wolf! 🐺

Doesn't he look fantastic?!

This transformation was executed over multiple short sessions using products made specifically for dogs. 🤍

The Foxy Hound is still accepting a few new grooming clients into our rotation with a couple of appointments available in November and January. Christmas appointments are sold out 🎄🎅

Sweet Chloe takes the spotlight in this feature!

Chloe is a medium sized doodle girl who gets so excited to see the whole team every 4 weeks at her spa day! Chloe's mom does an amazing job at home maintaining this combination curly coat type, no easy feat!

We love seeing Chloe come bounding in for her morning appointment with enthusiasm, no caffeine necessary!

This week's is the beautiful Angie!

Angie is a gorgeous probably a mix of a herding breed like a sheltie or collie. She was rescued by her adoring family 8 years ago and has been a regular visitor to The Foxy Hound for over 7 years!

We always look forward to Angie's bimonthly pampering and so does her mom! Angie is a heavy shedder and our grooming team is able to remove all her dead coat giving the family vacuum cleaner a much needed break! Angie is a perfectly behaved angel for her while grooming process 😍

Our lucky is the adorable Betty!

Betty is a mix and loves to play and meet new friends! Betty thinks sitting still for her haircut is kind of boring but enjoys praise for being a good girl!

Betty is sporting a cute easy maintenance length of 3/8s of an inch on her body and legs, a cute round head and layered ears for that soft, puppy-esque look!
